The space
Built in the early 1800s, this stone-front trinity is close to bustling Main Street in Manayunk. A trinity is unique to Philadelphia, but it is a three-story house with a room on each floor.

**Please make sure you are comfortable negotiating winding stairways.**

The house is cozy and perfect for a single person or one or two couples.
The house is small in scale but is outfitted with everything you need.

The first floor includes a kitchen, living room, and dining area. Stairs to the basement lead to the washer and dryer. A small patio with chairs is located in the back.
The second floor has a bedroom with a closet and a full bath. The hall closet is a supply closet and is locked.
The third floor has a bedroom with a full-sized bed.

Don't hesitate to get in touch with Heather about bringing your pet.
Guest access
The Trinity Cottage is two blocks from Main Street in the heart of Manayunk, a Philadelphia neighborhood treasure.

The easiest arrival is by train from 30th Street Station in Philadelphia on the Septa Norristown line. From the Manayunk station, it's a three-minute walk to the cottage.

Pay close attention to posted parking signs and street stripes.
Other things to note
The stairs are the original, old-fashioned spiral stairs. While they are in excellent condition, they can be intimidating.

Beautiful, peaceful, and atmospheric!

We stayed at Trinity Cottage for three nights when visiting family in the area. Everything is set up in such an attractive and hospitable way- the place had everything that we needed. We appreciated the ecologically sound soaps and paper products, too We were worried about safely negotiating the very steep and twisty stairs, but that concern made us extra careful and we had no problems. Our stay was very peaceful and quiet, and we loved the atmosphere. We would definitely stay here again.

Cute Cottage!

Lovely, historic-feeling home. Corkscrew staircase could be difficult to navigate for small kids or anyone with mobility issues. Quiet neighborhood. Easy walk to Main Street. Parking was an adventure!

Essence of Manayunk

The cottage itself is lovely — a miniature abode beautifully furnished. Plenty of thoughtful lighting, plush towels, comfortable bedding. Prospective guests should be forewarned that staircases (two) are steep and winding, and the bathroom sink is the size of soup bowl. Also, the free parking lot on Gay Street is conveniently located but barely accessible — no marked entrance, exit or spaces.

Location, location, location!

The townhouse is in the perfect location for a weekend in Manayunk - easy walk to restaurants and train station. It’s on a quiet side alley/street which we appreciated. The renovation is tastefully done with special attention to making the most of small spaces and the gas fireplace heater was a lovely touch. High end appliances, good mattresses and lovely linens/towels. The stairs are steep but I am an agile 72 year old and with the handle bar and railings had no problems getting up and down. We would definitely recommend.

We were in Philly for my brothers 40th birthday. Although the party was on the opposite side of the city, we found this house and thought it might be nice to explore additional areas of the city. Parking was a little bit difficult, but in the evening we were able to walk down to the little area nearby And get something to eat. The house felt quaint. It made me imagine that my great grandfather, a Welshman, who immigrated to Pennsylvania might’ve set up a HomeKit and that this could’ve been their first stop.
