The property was absolutely amazing and was on a great stretch of the taccoa river. The host was very pleasant and responsive as well. This property was by far the best place we have stayed at in blue ridge, me and my family will definitely be returning.

Highly suggest a light over the upstairs staircase for safety reasons. Very dark stairs at night. And an accessible outlet in the two guest rooms for c-pap plug in. And a floor lamp in the corner of the living room would be great.

Very nice property. Clean and well designed. Everything worked, although we couldn't get ESPN on the main TV but could on all the others - strange. Firepit next to the river was great. A little noisy with Aska road across the river and also a restaurant (which had good food) but you got used to it pretty quickly. We would rent again.

As for the TV, it will supposrt most straming services, so I'm sorry you were unable to get the channel yo were hoping for. We're glad it was an overall pleasant experiance. The house was beautiful. It was renovated and modern. Plenty of parking. It was great to have a fire pit outside but when it rained, we had a covered fireplace which was nice. The view was beautiful and the river water was shallow enough for our littles to enjoy. The river water wasn’t high enough to actually fish, but the kids enjoyed it regardless. The kitchen was fully stocked, but there was issues with gnats in the kitchen. The outside grill was in great condition to grill and the kids really enjoyed the ping-pong table downstairs. The only downfall was the living. space wasn’t as cozy as we hoped and the TV was a bit too small and the AC didn’t get as cold as we hoped. The house was clean and decorated beautifully and the hot tub was a nice feature.

Property was good. We have a cleanliness issue is with bed linens. Long hairs on pillow cases and in the sheets in all bedrooms. Seems to me the sheets were not washed before our arrival. We stripped the beds and washed the sheets ourselves because it was so bad. We liked the property but this was very disturbing and impacted negatively how we felt about the stay.

Beautiful location right on the river with plenty of seating (both in the sun and in the shade) to enjoy the sights and sounds of nature. Plenty of space for our group of 9. Our fishermen enjoyed fishing right along the property. The kids enjoyed the gem mining and restaurant within walking distance. The firepit and hot tub were great at night. (They provided a starter supply of firewood.) Very responsive host when the dishwasher broke.

We really enjoyed our stay! The rental was clean with a beautiful view of the Toccoa River. There are a couple rooms that were warm at night unfortunately but we made the best of it. I feel like the bathrooms, some of the bedrooms could use some hooks on the walls to help with hanging things but overall the cabin is spacious and cozy. Lots of deck space, lower and upper and we loved the fire pit making s’mores. The jacuzzi was a hit too!

Great riverside vacation

Our three generation family (ages ranging from 15 to 70) had a great time at this cabin. We loved the riverside location which felt remote but not too far from necessities and fun attractions.

This was a very enjoyable stay with our children and grandchildren so many fun things to do ! The weather and the air was so refreshing We enjoyed activities at all three rivers and also enjoyed time around the bonfire outside of home and enjoying good meals together !

Breath taking view! The property was as described and certainly more than we needed but I would not trade the relaxing experience for anything. Well equipped for our late arrival with no coffee on hand. Be sure to check out the nearby restaurants. One for breakfast and the other for afternoon dining. Our pup enjoyed long walks through the Blue Ridge and gazing off the deck at tubers floating down the Taccoa. There’s a dog park at the bottom of Aska Road to run off his ball tossing needs and one in town where you can enjoy a cold drink.By day four we had planned to request an extended stay but with rain in the forecast we opted to head south. A week later I’m sort of regretting not enjoying a few more days even if it rained.We will be back!
