Homestead Vacation Home is a clean, comfortable and spacious house in a peaceful and private setting. With all of the basics, in addition to many extras, this place truly feels like home while being on vacation. The location is ideal as it’s situated in a rural setting yet close to many area attractions. This was our second time staying here and we would love to return again next year!

We had an excellent nice stay. House was impeccable! Sweet touch by host to leave us delicious homemade cookies and some snacks. We enjoyed sitting outside on the back patio for hours at night enjoying the beautiful sunset and peaceful atmosphere. Front porch was used as well to just sit and enjoy the view. We will definitely be back again!

What a wonderful home in which to stay! Beyond the immaculate surroundings, the delicious homemade chocolate chip cookies, and the fully stocked kitchen, Debbie & Jonas have created a most peaceful haven. You couldn’t ask for a better location as you are truly in the middle of the Amish countryside. What a joy to see the children happily playing every morning just across the street as they enter their one room school house. And just a short drive through the countryside to the Sight & Sound Theater to experience Biblical theatrical performances. What a blessing! Thank you for sharing your home and part of yourselves! Blessings!

Wonderful atmosphere in this comfortable home. We found it well supplied and impeccably clean. Fresh baked cookies awaited our arrival. Area information was provided and property instructions were simple and minor. All appliances were clean and functional. Hot water was abundant, even with five adults.Josh is an excellent communicator, gracious host. Working through arrangements with him was a pleasure. Josh anticipated our questions and accommodated our change in plans without complaint. The country setting in the rural farmland was idyllic and picturesque. Our next visit will definitely include another stay at this lovely home.Thank you, Josh, for the wonderful stay.

I cannot explain how wonderful the experience was at this property. We were shocked when we arrived that there was no television and it turned out to be exactly what we needed. It is as peaceful and quiet as you could ever imagine. Jonas was accommodating and unbelievably quick to respond with any messages. If you’re looking to get away from your busy life, you could just sit on the porch at this house and relax for days! Definitely going back at some point…
