Rustic Roots Seaside Indigo Cabin
Our seaside cabin is nested right on the waterfront, with amazing views of Resurrection Bay and the Chugach Mountain range. This craftsman cabin is rustic and has the feel of a modern houseboat at high tide.
The cabin is quaint and perfect for 2 guests. It includes an en-suite bathroom, queen-size bed, sitting area, and kitchenette with mini fridge, two-burner stove, and microwave. Step out on the deck to enjoy amenities such as a propane BBQ, firepit, and private beach access.
Rustic Roots Cabins offers 7 nightly units in Seward, set on the beachfront of Lowell Point. Your space is rustic, yet clean, and caters to the new generation of adventure travelers. Come indulge in privacy while having all of the homey amenities you might need.
Guests have the entire oceanfront cabin to themselves. There is a private outdoor patio and beach access right in front. There is also a shared firepit on property for guest use, as well as a yoga studio and chicken coop.
The cabin includes its own personalized keypad for self-check in, so guests do not need to interact with the hosts if they prefer privacy.
PLEASE NOTE: We took over the Rustic Roots property in 2024. This rustic cabins has been and will continue to go under cosmetic renovations to give it a more modern feel. In the meantime, we love preserving and showcasing its unique character.
This cabin is located at Rustic Roots Seward, so please be mindful of other guests when using the outdoor shared spaces, including yoga studio and firepit areas.
Please remove you shoes while in the cabin.
Without a dishwasher, we ask that you clean you own dishes.
Pets may be considered for an additional $60, please read details.

About the host

Matt and KellyAnn recently took over management of this property from Lowell Point locals Paul and Lynda Paquette. Paul, a local builder known for his craftsman work, Silhouette Shingles, and the prominent designer of the property, was hired by his neighbor Lynda in the late 1990s to build the first cabin at Angels Rest. As they say, the rest is history! 7 units later, Paul and Lynda, happily married for 20+ years, are ready to retire from their work in hospitality. We have big shoes to fill and hold more honor than we describe, and we are happy to carry on this legacy of love as a part of the Salted Roots journey.
