A quaint, cabin on Lowell Point just a short walk to the beach awaits! This cozy cabin sleeps 6 with 2 bedrooms, each with a queen and a twin bed, 1.5 baths, full kitchen, cozy dining area and living room, outdoor grill and wonderful access to nearby trails. Located 100 yards from the beach and Caines head State Recreation area, this home is the perfect place to explore Lowell Point and spot marine wildlife!

Both bedrooms are upstairs and are identical in layout, with one queen and one twin bed each. One full bathroom is located upstairs featuring a stand up shower with the half bath located downstairs on the main floor. The kitchen is fully equipped with pots, pans, dishes and utensils, a dining room with seating for (6) and outdoor seating with a propane barbecue grill are more perks! A note that this property does not have a dishwasher or washer and dryer in unit.

Located 100 yards from the beach and Caines head State Recreation area, this home is the perfect place to explore Lowell Point and spot marine wildlife! Guests have access to the entire home.

Located just 2 miles outside of downtown Seward in the seaside community of Lowell Point, this unique home is within walking distance from beach access and local hiking trails. You will need a vehicle to get around and to the home from Seward. Taxis are typically readily available. We highly recommend a car.

The home does not have an on-demand hot water heater. It is a 50 gallon tank, so hot water may run out during your stay. If so, we ask guests to patiently wait for the tank to fill and heat back up before using again. Also, the heat in the home is powered by a Toyo stove - so you may smell propane or gas from time to time, which is normal. Wood stove is not accessible by guests. Wood stove is off limits to guests.

The home does not have guest laundry or a dishwasher.

As a free resource, my husband Clay, a local boat captain, and I are here to answer questions or help you book the perfect excursion to explore Seward and the surrounding Kenai Fjords National Park. We offer discounts on many tours to our guests.

This property is an amazing true Alaskan experience. The location is as good as it can get. Knowing that we were renting an older home kept our expectations realistic. The modern amenities of wi-fi, TV, and the plug in fans & heaters provided kept the atmosphere very comfortable. The hosts were great to work with being both attentive and responsive. The visits from the friendly neighbor hood dogs were a bonus treat for our kidsz

Great communication & allowed us to check in early. Property was very clean and comfortable with big windows in the living room. Bedrooms were big and the bathroom upstairs had a nice walk-in shower. We would stay here again when coming to Seward.

We really enjoyed our 6-night stay and were super happy with Point Place. It was the perfect location for us being close to hiking trails, the beach, and being within 2 miles of downtown. Very welcoming family-friendly neighborhood that felt safe and authentic. Excellent hot showers, well-maintained yard, and well-stocked with household essentials. The host was excellent and super friendly with offering recommendations. Our bucket-list trip to Alaska included 2 halibut/rock fishing days, and a day on the River for sockeye. Appreciated our cozy place after such big adventures! Definitely recommend!

The place was great and as friends, we enjoyed the layout with the fully stocked kitchen because we cooked a lot. The Dow sty powder room was also needed and used. Great layout and comfortable!

We had a nice stay overnight. The cabin is nicely updated and had warm heaters in both bedrooms keeping it as cozy as you wanted it. The short walk to the inlet bay to see the sunrise was amazing! Highly recommend getting up early to view it. Thanks for the complimentary coffee/hot cocoa and tea in the cupboard!
