My husband and I decided last minute for a little getaway for his birthday. The house was great. More than enough room for just us 2, we could’ve brought the kids with and still had enough room. Close to the 4x4 beach which was great, that’s where we like to go. Host was very responsive and made sure we had no issues or concerns during our stay. Would definitely rent this property again. The house was very neat and clean. We loved that it was close to our favorite surf shop Primal and breakfast place Brigantine bistro!

Great location in a recently well done renovation. We were very happy with enough space for 4 of us plus a baby for beach days and those lazy loungey evenings. Would love to visit again!

Unfortunate experience

There was a mixup in the dates reserved where the stay requested was longer than the intended days. Thought everything was ok after speaking with the host and Vrbo immediately after the booking stating the issue. The intent was to change the date to the correct date and not be charged for the day we were not staying The end result was a refusal from the host to credit the day submitted in error and not used even after contacting them prior of the inadvertent date. The place was nice but the issue placed a negative experience due to a lack of cooperation by the host. Very disappointed will probably not use Vrbo in the future.

Hi Jim, Thanks for your feedback. I’m really sorry to hear about the confusion with your reservation dates. Since your booking was made on July 26 for a stay starting July 28, the details and our cancellation policy were communicated and visible at that time. I understand this mix-up was frustrating, especially regarding the unused night. We try to be as helpful as possible, but unfortunately, we couldn’t adjust the reservation or offer a credit due to our policy. I wish we could have done more to make things right. I'm glad to hear you liked the property, though. We appreciate your comments and will use them to improve our service. Thank you for staying with us. I hope you’ll consider using VRBO again in the future.
