Sorry for your discomfort. Unfortunately not everyone prefers the same firmness in a mattress. While we have had all positive feedback thus far concerning it, we cannot have multiple different ones on hand for everyone’s desire. Everyone has their own preference and sometimes has to do with aches and pains the traveler may have and just the typical body type. This is true in both cases with myself. Sorry again for your discomfort.
We had the most wonderful stay! We actually got a little lost on the way in, and the host went above and beyond to help guide us and even helped us get settled into the house. That meant so much after a long week. The tiny home was absolutely beautiful — spotless, cozy, and thoughtfully put together. It may be small in size, but it’s truly full of love. There was even extra Valentine’s gifts - such a sweet and unexpected touch that made our stay even more special. The peaceful rain in the mountains made everything feel calm and relaxing. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to unwind. Highly recommend and would absolutely stay again!
Wonderful little home, we didn’t show up until super late but the stars where something people dream about. Iv never saw stars so clear in my life. I could see every constellation, it was truly breath taking not to mention hearing the water from the creek in the back was just relaxing coming from a big city. They also utilized the space well. Very clean, cute decor, everything we needed. We even got greeted with a goody basket (which was nice after 6hrs in the car) and a hand wrote letter to us. I would most definitely recommend.
My husband and I stayed here for a week visiting our daughter. The property was clean and cozy. It had all the amenities we needed for the two of us. We worked remotely for a week and had very few problems. We did lose power once but we just went to a coffee shop (Lizzie B’s) which was a nice change of scenery. We did have some trouble finding it once we made the turn on the road (second house on the right) as it was dark and we didn’t have cell service. Cindy and her husband were so friendly and welcoming. We knew if we had any issues they would help us out no problem. Thank you for a great week.
This host has thought about almost everything you may need during your stay! They left a goodie basket with a note to welcome us. You can tell from their organization and check-ins with us that they truly want their visitors to have a great experience. Also, the decor of this home was very cute and well thought out and the home is located in a rural area that has beautiful woodland views. All of the kitchen accessories/dishes looked rather new. We did not bring our dogs, however they do allow them and have accessories there for the dogs. Also, they have a gate on their front porch that would allow you to sit out there with your fur baby and not worry about them running off. I would have given this venue a 5, however we had a very hard time sleeping. The bed is not great and we were hot. We had a difficult time trying to get the air unit to work to where we could just have a fan blowing in the room. HOWEVER, I am pretty certain the host would have come and looked at it, however we were busy the entire wknd, and did not reach out to them, then not back to the home until bedtime. I do wish all host were as thoughtful as Cindy and John are.
My husband John and I moved to the friendly state of Kentucky from North Carolina in November of 2022. Our dream was to become hosts and have a few STR, this is our first one. The name of our rental came from a combination of our mothers names.
