Our stay was so peaceful. This house was exactly what we needed for accommodation and size. If you are ever coming to this area I highly recommend. The host was great. They kept in contact throughout the stay to make sure we didn’t need anything. Overall 10 out of 10. Thank you so much for your hospitality!
We loved staying at Homeplace. There were plenty of stores and things to do nearby. Very cozy accommodations. Lots of beautiful views and parks close as well. The kitchen had everything we needed for a comfortable stay and there were ple ty of common areas for us to be with each other in.
Nice overall but upstairs shower wasnt clean. There was a wad of long hair on the wall of shower. Both queen beds had very FIRM mattresses. But overall nice
It was a great place to stay. We ride electric bikes. There were quite a few trails with easy access available. House was wonderful to stay in. Very neat and tidy.
We were in town for a funeral. This home was a wonderful place for our family. It was very clean and comfortable. It was close to shopping and restaurants.
Property was very nice and very comfortable. It is however located next to two major highways so if you’re a light sleeper, I would take that into consideration.
I grew up in the area and come in to visit family. My choices are usually hotels (which are not close) it the lodge at the lake (not convenient). This was the best of both worlds: close to where I needed and PERFECT for a group. We even did the whole family for Thanksgiving here!
We had a wonderful stay at Homeplace, and found it was located near everything eastern Kentucky has to offer. Our hosts were wonderful and flexible in a tough time for our family, and the home was beautiful. Would absolutely recommend.
Our family including grown children and grandbaby stayed at the property while attending a family event. It was a great place for our family to recharge every evening upon our return. Thank you for the cleanliness and beauty of this home.

Shared from the owner: "It is wonderful to hear you enjoyed your stay with your family. We appreciate the kind review. Glad we were able to provide a home environment for your family to recharge!"
We were a party of 6. The rooms are spacious and very nice furniture. Living room was a great place to all unwind together. Linens, towels, etc all ver6 nice, too. We drove to Martin every day...a lovely drive thru the mountains...and loved coming 'home' to our accommodations.
It was everything we had hoped for. Came down for granddaughters wedding. Venue was 8 min away. We were able to relax and cheaper than all of us staying in hotel!
So glad that my daughter found this listing, It was the perfect space for us to meet and celebrate our daughter’s graduation. I would recommend this spot. It was about 35 minutes from Pikeville , but worth the drive. We were able to have a family dinner with friends that traveled for the event. Fond memories were made as we celebrated my daughter’s achievements.
Thanks for a stress free experience.
Despite a couple of issues "Homeplace" was one of the nicest places I have ever stayed. I am a veteran so I have been to a number of locations. Becky answered my texts promptly. More importantly I had some difficulty locating the home. I didn't realize I was only a few blocks away. Becky answered my call and gave the directions to the house. I couldn't have found a better place to stay nor a better host. I certainly hope if I ever go to the area again this place is available. The home was clean, comfortable and fun. There was a TV in living room and in each of the bedrooms. I have never seen this in any of the previous places I have stayed. My sisters and I really enjoyed ourselves and a lot of it was because of "Homeplace" and of course Becky.

Lots of room!
This house was a very nice size and with bathrooms, both upstairs and down, it made it perfect for six people. We only had 2 couples and a child so it was more than enough room. Nice size eat in kitchen and large dining room & table which would accommodate a group for playing games or dining. The kitchen equipped with everything needed to easily prepare meals. Becky was a real sweetheart, answering all my questions patiently, both ahead of time and during our stay. Unfortunately, for all of us, there was a large group who came in before us who broke all the rules and much of the furnishings. We had requested an early check in, which had been graciously granted. but due to the previous groups behavior we had to wait until the normal check in time. The obnoxious group was malicious, unplugging WIFI, lights and key components in the house, but Becky walked us through setting it all back up. The house keeping team did a wonderful job cleaning up after the horrific group's destructive behavior. Other than electrical components being unplugged, we would have never known the extent of the damage. Becky kept us informed of the progress and was so very apologetic. If I had to mention a slight inconvenience, it would be that there were no empty cabinets for us to store our personal food items and sundries and the cabinets were in a bit of disarray, but again, this may have been a result of the previous group's behavior. All in all, this was a wonderful house to stay in. The location was perfect for our needs and we wished we had more time to enjoy all the area has to offer. We definitely will be booking again in the future!
