Really nice location. Close to wonderful restaurants. Easy access to the lakefront. We had a family get-together; the property was excellent for being in a large group or having a quiet space.
Everything about this vrbo is fantastic! There is lots of space, beds are comfortable, and it’s in a great location, just a short distance to Milwaukee activities. The house is on the national historic registry and it’s easy to see why; the rooms are extremely well preserved and have incredible woodwork. That being said modern amenities are included through the home making it a perfect mix of old and new. Our whole family felt like royalty during our stay. Hosts were very responsive and clearly wanted to make our stay comfortable. We will definitely stay again!
What a charming historic place to stay for my daughter’s wedding weekend. Old world Milwaukee charm in one of the best areas in the city. It was wonderful for a Sunday post wedding brunch. The artwork was so enjoyable. Meticulously appointed and my two grandchildren (5 and 3) felt like royalty sitting in the captain’s chairs in the dining hall. Truly magical Delightful Milwaukee experience from Mader’s restaurant, to the wedding at the Wisconsin Club to the truly feel-good family home…really feel-good vibes
There are not enough stars for this home. The host was very responsive, it was clean, the house is amazing to walk around with all its gilded age character. We roamed around imaging what each room originally was. I just loved it. Memories were made in Milwaukee and in this home. The last night we ALL sat on the huge couch and watched Disneys Haunted Mansion with all the “candles”.
We loved staying here - it was just what we needed for our large family! The house was clean, Kevin was very communicative and we loved being so close to the lake. We especially enjoyed the large dining room table that we could all sit around. We will definitely be back next summer!
