The property was exactly as described and much better. Loved the house and outdoor living and recreational areas. I would recommend this property to anyone who wants to get away, but still be close enough to a big city if they wanted to do something in a city location. The night sky views were also awesome!
This was a great place for our family to spend my son’s wedding weekend. Lots of entertainment with the pool, hot tub, games and TVs. Lots of room for my elderly father to get away from the energy of the great grandchildren. The houses were both spotless and very well equipped. Feeding carrots to the donkeys and goats was a huge hit! I would recommend this rental to anyone, especially if you are going to have a large group.
The best part of staying here was the communication with our host, Blake. He answered every question we had in a very timely manner. The house and land were beautiful! We enjoyed watching our neighbors, goats and a donkey. The house is out of Austin city limits, but it’s about 25 minutes from downtown. The driveway was big enough to handle multiple vehicles. The guesthouse was a plus. We would definitely stay here again.
We really enjoyed our stay. We ended up staying in and enjoying time with friends and family at the property more than we originally planned. It is set up very well for spending quality time and relaxing. The owner was very responsive and check in/out instructions were clear. I would recommend getting groceries on your way in as there are limited options for meal delivery to this location. Would definitely stay again!
We were in town for my daughters wedding at The Grand Lady. This house was perfect. The location was so close to the venue. We had the bridal party in the front house and the back house is where the groomsmen's stayed. They were able to hang out in the yard with a fire and just enjoy the celebrations that were to unfold the following morning. The host communicated so well before the check in and if I had a question he was quick to respond. A perfect house for a large family or just friends getting together.
We had a very special weekend in TX seeing the eclipse, and spending time with our extended family. The house is located in a very quiet rural area; remote but easy access to the city and highways. Plenty of space, TVs in every sleeping area and plenty of dishes and glassware in the kitchen. We brought in a local chef to cook us a special dinner one night to celebrate my daughter’s birthday and he found everything he needed to prepare a goumet dinner for us. We also enjoyed using the pool and the grill throughout the visit.
Every summer my brothers and sister and spouses get together for a few days to relax and recharge. The house was a great fit for the ten of us. Ample bedrooms and baths. Management was very quick to respond to our questions. We were a little disappointed with the outdoor amenities. Pool lights and patio chairs need to be maintained. All in all a nice place, but needs a little TLC to address some minor issues.
We recently stayed at this property and, while the location is nice and tucked away at the end of a quiet road, the overall experience was disappointing—especially for the price. The main house was decent, but all bedroom A/C vents were closed, making it uncomfortable. More concerning, the guest house A/C was not working at all. I specifically booked this property for the extra space during a two-day work conference in the Manor area, so this was a major issue. An A/C technician didn’t arrive until around 7 PM on check-in day, and we were expected to accommodate him until after midnight. That should not have been our responsibility, especially while traveling for work. A portable unit was provided but was not sufficient for the space. The pool was dirty upon arrival, and the hot tub was murky and smelled like mildew. Although someone came the next day to address it, I was at work and unable to use the amenities. It also appeared cleaning was happening just an hour before check-in, which likely contributed to these issues. While the host was responsive, it doesn’t make up for the inconvenience. Overall, I expected a smoother, more prepared experience and left disappointed.
