Menelia Cottage offers, on the ground floor, of a spacious and comfortable sitting-room as well as of a fully-fledged kitchen (oven, fridge with freezer compartment, micro-wave, kettle etc.). On the first floor, one can find three luxurious bedrooms, configured to accommodate up to eight guests (two double bedrooms and a children’s room with four single beds)..
In the village of Platistoma you will find a traditional family run taverna, with some of the finest cuisine. And only a couple of Kilometre's away, the village of Karia and Englouvi with supermarkets, more lovely tavernas folklore and much more.
This traditional stone house, built in the late nineteenth century, in a small mountain village of farmers, had been partially destroyed at the beginning of the twentieth century, during the war. Located in the heart of a charming island with varied landscape, idyllic beaches as well as verdant mountains, rich historical and cultural tradition, the house was completely restored and renovated in the years 2000 to become a comfortable residence, ideal for hosting lovers of relaxing vacations in direct contact with nature, away from the main tourist streams.
