With incomparable views stretching across the Ionian sea overlooking the bay of Mikros Gialos, this villa occupies an enviable position on the hillside of Fterno. A convent location near Sivota and Nidri. CLIMATE RESILIENCE TAX
As of the 1st of January 2024, the Greek government imposed a new tax known as the Climate resilience Tax which applies to all stays in short-term rental accommodation in Greece from 2024 onwards.

Owners of all short-term rental accommodation are legally obliged to collect from their guests the Climate Resilience Tax for all overnight stays (per villa) as follows:
€15 per night on stays between March 1 and October 31,

The relevant Climate Resilience Tax is to be paid at the property IN CASH UPON ARRIVAL.

All owners are then obliged to remit these monies on your behalf to government authorities.

Under no circumstances is this relative to the accommodation rental charges.

Fantastisches Haus mit Pool

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt und genossen die sehr gute Ausstattung und den herrlichen Ausblick auf‘s Meer. Wir waren 3 Erwachsene und hatten jeder ein Schlafzimmer mit gutem, eigenen Bad. Ein Supermarkt befindet sich in ca. 500 m Nähe.

Had the most amazing experience. Even with our car broke down, Vasillias was very accommodating and even took us to town with his own vehicle. The nicest and most genuine man on the island!! He really looked after us and made sure our stay was relaxing and enjoyable. Place was clean and beautiful. Highly recommend for anyone in Greece or around the world!! Très jolie maison avec vue fantastique sur les îles de la mer Ionienne

Le seul inconvénient la proximité de la route qui est assez passante le reste est parfait. Attention toutefois à l’accès qui est très raide avec virage serré qui fait un peu chauffer l’embrayage mieux vaut avoir une voiture de location Le tout débouche sur la route nationale en sortie de virage sans visibilité, soyez très prudent !

Unglaubliches Panorama und Villa vielen Annehmlichkeiten

Das Panorama lässt einen, auch nach mehreren Tagen, nicht mehr los. Auch vom tollen Pool aus grandios. Alle Schlafzimmer mit separaten Bad, Klimaanlage, funktionierende Fliegengitter und grosszügige Terrassen vervollständigen einen gelungenen Aufenthalt. Geringfügige Punktabzüge bei Anfahrt ans Haus(sportlich-schmal-steil) und manchmal etwas Strassengeräusche in einem Schlafzimmer im oberen Stock bei offenen Fenstern. Unten war's still. Insgesamt war es eine perfektes Haus für unseren Urlaub!!

Fantastic villa with views to die for!

Our holiday at Villa Gialos was superb! We arrived late at night to be greeted by the owners who were lovely. They showed us around our villa and explained a few things and we could tell straight away that we were going to be happy there. It's always a relief when you arrive at your destination and everything lives up to the description on the website, in this case even better! The property was presented to a high standard with everything tasteful and beautifully clean. When we saw the view on the first morning we were blown away! We feel really lucky to have spent two weeks here and would highly recommend it to anyone, you will not be disappointed.

Ionian Luxury

The villa looks down on a lovely bay and each day starts with the uplifting vista. The owner was friendly and keen to see we were settled in and happy. The infinity pool was delightful and occupied my mature children for hours and hours. There are several charming places to visit for your evening meal and supermarkets are within easy reach, though Lidl’s in Lefkada town is a bit too far for a grocery run. You need to be a confident driver to negotiate the steep hairpin drive and we nearly hit Chris Bonnington on a few occasions - there he was clinging to the driveway on pure oxygen. The only negative was that someone had collected all the wasps in Europe and trained them to appear in numbers whenever we chose to eat outside at the poolside - which was once! However the villa was so well-presented this pales to little significance...it’s highly likely we’ll be returning. A very special place indeed! We’ve stayed all over Greece in many types of accommodation but this was the best by far. For comparison - only Raffles in Siem Reap beat this...but then that was RAFFLES!!!

Magnifique villa avec un très bon accueil

Malgré notre arrivée tardive, nous avons été très bien accueillis par Vassilli et sa femme. Il y avait plein de petites attentions. Le lendemain Vassilli nous a aidé à trouver une location de voiture et nous y a emmené. Il était toujours très disponible. La villa a une vue magnifique dont on ne se lasse pas et elle est très bien équipée. Le ménage est fait en milieu de semaine. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour et nous recommandons cette villa.

Beautiful villa with stunning views

We had an incredible time in the villa, the views over the bay are truly captivating. The villa is spotlessly clean and the contemporary layout is perfect. The kitchen is well set out and the air conditioning is glorious. There are so many areas to sit and relax in but the pool is the best place to enjoy the view. We were met by Vassilli and his wife who welcomed us warmly. The villa was cleaned thoroughly mid-week which was just right and not intrusive (felt like it was our space then) and the pool was always very clean. We ate in most nights as it was simply too nice to leave, we found a lovely champagne bar in Lefkada town, which we visited a few times. There are a few bars in Poros, which is a very small and quiet bay however Sivota is definitely worth a trip. One thing that is worth mentioning, is the road, the noise is not too loud but there is a main road running below the villa and on occasions spoils the peace and quiet. However, we would highly recommend the villa for the many reasons mentioned and have never relaxed quite so much on a holiday. We have told so many people about our trip and would love to return someday.

An exceptional villa with magnificent views!

We booked this beautiful villa in July with the sole intention of a relaxing week’s break, but we got so much more! The villa; brand new and spotlessly clean has sea views even better than the photographs and outdoor space is meticulously planned giving you complete privacy and tranquillity. The best feature is, without doubt, the outside areas and infinity pool, which had both shallow and deep ends and enjoyed the sun from morning through to early evening. The large surrounding area was well equipped with four sunbeds, a double day bed and six seated patio dining set. My daughter found the hammock to be the best though! The owners were located next door, but very discreet and never intrusive, although we didn’t need to call on them, felt they would have done anything to help. The bedrooms are of good size, each one has good storage facilities, en-suite, hairdryers, two good sized mirrors and patio doors to a balcony. Every room has air-conditioning with separate controls and all windows and patio doors have fly screens which is an excellent addition, particularly in the evenings. There are TV’s in all bedrooms and a smart TV in the living room but would recommend you take a few dvd’s if you want to relax at the end of the evening as there is only BBC world news channel for us Brits. Mind you we found the lower balcony with comfortable patio furniture a lovely place to end the evening. Although not in walking distance, the ports of Nidri (We hired a boat for the day which was excellent fun) and Syvota (which we found gorgeous during the evening) are really close by, as is a fair sized supermarket just a two minute drive away. Would we go back? Yes definitely, we would hire a slightly larger car, as the driveway is steep and our little hire car struggled, but apart from that there is nothing I could fault!

A place where you return

We arrived very late in the night at the villa, and at the first glance it looked nice and comfortable. Next morning when we woke up and went to the living room, the view over Mikros Gialos bay left us breathless. Located on top of a hill, villa offers a view far beyond any picture you can see . Swimming in the pool, laying on lounge chair or baldaquin, dining at the shade, you can enjoy from all places and every moment this view. Interior of the villa is furnished in a modern style and you have all the facilities you might need to feel like home. The hosts, Thalia and Vasilis welcomed us very warmly, and provided us a long list of recommendations for places to visit, scenic drive, water activities and water sports, food and drink. We managed to follow very few of them due to lack of time, so next year we will come back.
