This is a great location to use as a hub and take day trips to Traverse City, Petoskey, Torch Lake or Charlevoix. Sleeping Bear Dunes makes a great day trip.

The condo was beautiful, completely updated with highend furnishings. It has 2 outdoor seating areas, we had coffee on the back patio, loved it. Very private as this unit is next to a wooded area. #10 tee box is adjacent, it wasn't noisy at all. This condo has everything you could need, very comfortable. Highly recommend!

This gem was a place that had everything we needed for a 2 night stay. It was secluded and very quiet . Even seen the golfers out having a great time as we sat out back and had our morning coffee. Connie was very helpful with all questions and even checked in to make sure we made it ok .we will surely rent again 😊😊😊

Ski weekend

Was perfect for a quick getaway. Warm shower and comfy bed after a full day of skiing. Only negative was that the pullout wasn’t the comfiest for our teen boys.

Nicely Updated

Condo was very clean, well appointed and nicely modernized. The area was central to many beach towns if your willing to drive 45-60 minutes each day. We visited Petoskey, Charlevoix, Torch Lake and Elk Rapids. I will say the "resort" itself is dated and offers nothing appealing in the summer. The lodge is closed, the restaurants get poor reviews and the pool/hot tub area was pretty gross. So great condo at a good price for its proximity to Lake Michigan and the great outdoors. Easy check in, clear instructions and easy check out.

Cute little place!

My husband and I had a great time up North and we were thankful this little condo was very clean and the updated bathroom was wonderful! The mattress on the bed was the only thing that was rough, it was insanely hard and my husband and I did not get great sleep the three nights we were up there. Other than that the place was great and it was a good middle ground for day trips to TC and Petoskey!

Super homey and cozy

Me and my boyfriend stayed here for Valentine’s Day weekend! When I tell you Ms. Connie did an amazing job with this beautiful cozy condo. All the details are superb and I appreciate the warmth and comfort feeling that this condo brought us. It’s so self sufficient and very accessible. You can prepare meals, along with beautiful countertops, mini kitchen island, a king size bed, and the bathroom is spacious with the double shower head. Outside front and back seating areas. The space was strategically thought out! We loved how we can change the temperature in each room. Very pleasant to have some board and card games on hand! I am blown away at this incredible experience and we will be sure to come back for different seasons year round. Highly recommended! Thank you so much!

ZERO STARS - DO NOT RECOMMEND

The condo is very small, which is not a deal-breaker but the property manager was extremely unreasonable and unpleasant. The original listing said that this property slept "4-5" by virtue of a queen sized bed, a queen sized sofa pull-out and a roll-away cot. When we checked it - no cot. We contacted her and she said - "oh, well I need to change the listing, because the sofa pull-out is bigger than the old one, so no cot". I sent her a screen shot of the listing that showed the property has a cot and she begrudgingly dropped one off. This listing is marked as "ski-in, ski-out" and it is not. You COULD walk to the slopes from the property but it is about a fifteen minute walk and not really do-able in ski boots and while carrying your skis and poles. Also, when we checked out, we followed all the written instructions (and there were plenty) - we ran the dishwasher, took the linens off the sofa bed, folded up the cot, took out the trash, left the dirty towels in the bathroom and left the dirty linens on the bed. We forgot to move the coffee table back to the living from the closet where we had stored it. The coffee table had been placed right in front of the sofa and there is NO WAY you could use the sofa bed without moving the table. When we went move it, we noticed that the tiles in the top were LOOSE so we took them off and stacked them in the closet with the table. After we checked out, the owner contacted us and said the condo was in disarray - false. She was the most upset that we moved the table and actually said "there is no reason to move furniture". In summary, this place is very very small and NOT a ski-in, ski-out location as advertised. There are other properties at Shanty Creek that are closer to the hills where you don't have to worry a very nit-picky property manager who is dishonest and unprofessional.

CK Schuss Mountain Condo Rentals LLC has grown from one condo to now 16 condos in Schuss Village near Bellaire Michigan. Our area has something to do year around. Winter, skiing both downhill and cross country, dog sledding, tubing. Summer has endless fun things to do. Golf, boating, biking, hiking, shopping, wine tasting, canoeing and kayaking. A major attraction is Shorts Brewery in Bellaire. The quaint town of Bellaire is 6miles away. 15 minutes away you can spend the day on Torch Lake and stop at the Dockside restaurant for dinner.

Why they chose this property

We chose this condo because it is off of the main road in a quiet end unit yet close to the slopes and action of the resort. The cross country ski trail is literally out the back door. You will be a short walk to the slopes, the club house, pool, hot tub and Ivan's restaurant.

What makes this property unique

We have tried to stock this condo with as many items as we could think of to make your stay as comfortable as home. You will have TV with DVR and high speed wireless WiFi internet. A Kuerig coffee brewer, regular coffee pot, dishes, pots, pans and kitchen utensils. All linens, soaps and paper products included. Our unit is well maintained and very clean. Professionally cleaned between each guest.
