Island House Beach Resort 18S

Island House Beach Resort, Siesta Key Florida! This is a newly fully renovated one-bedroom, two-bath top floor apartment with a great view of the beautiful Gulf of Mexico. It sleeps up to six with one king bed in the bedroom and two queen-sized sleeper sofas in the apartment. There is a room that can be closed off with a large accordion door which may serve as a private den and/or second bedroom containing a desk and one of the sleeper-sofas. The kitchen is fully equipped and the apartment shares a washing machine and dryer with only one other apartment. There are two televisions, a Blue-Ray/DVD player, cable TV and in unit Internet. This attractive complex has 2 beach cabanas, beach chairs and a courtyard with shuffleboard. There is large heated swimming pool, recreation room with ping pong, a pool table and air hockey. There are many shops, restaurants, attractions close by on Siesta Key. Busch Gardens/Adventure Island is one hour away and Disney/Epcot two and one half hours away.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My wife and I had 2 wonderful weeks relaxing at the beach. Despite a few "scars" remaining from Ian, the Island house property was in great shape and we experienced a seamless stay. The weather was great so we could enjoy the beautiful view from our dinning area and the sun and sunsets at our leisure. The local restaurants were great and uncrowded- especially enjoyed Sardinia a hidden gem

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was great, as usual. Three weeks after Hurricane Ian hit and we were afraid that things would be out of sorts but there was only a minor parking inconvenience. The apartment was outstanding and had great views. The only down side was that the cookware in the apartment was below average, but that could be a result of many things and did not detract from us enjoying our stay.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was our first time staying with Island House Beach Resort and it was fantastic! We are already booked for next year! The view from our room was spectacular! It was nice being able to wake up and go for our morning walk, right on the beach! The place was much larger than places we have stayed in at other locations. It was clean and had everything we needed to function for the week, pots and pans, coffee maker, glasses, knives, forks, spoons. We stopped at Publix just up the street before we got there to pick up food for the week. It all worked out well.It was easy to get to the shuttle stop (right in front of the resort) and go to shops and restaurants at Siesta Key Village. We enjoyed the experience and are looking forward to next year’s vacation at Island House Beach Resort. Thank you to the crew at the front desk for answering all of our questions.
