Skagit River Waterfront Cottage

The Skagit river in the front yard, this house is an ideal home base from which to explore the area or just stay put. You can take a day hiking trip in majestic mountains and come 'home' to sleep in a comfy bed instead of a tent! There are several dams to visit nearby and the historic town of Concrete is fun to explore and nearby. This is also the perfect place to just relax on the deck enjoying a lovely view of the Skagit River or roast marshmallows at the fire pit next to the river. The large sandy beach at the community park is within walking distance and a must see with beautiful vistas. Bring your camera and your fishing pole! Come in the winter to see the eagles or in the summer to explore the North Cascades! The neighborhood is a mixed use community, full time residential and camping or vacation properties.

Nice little place

We had a nice weekend trip at the Mallory house. The house was clean, beds were comfortable and it worked great for our family of 4. It’s in a great location for access to all of the hiking in the area. We would recommend to others and would definitely come back!

A wonderful riverside setting. Spotlessly clean cottage. The best appointed kitchen in any condo ,cabin or cottage we have ever rented. We arrived about 45 minutes early and the owner reset door locking system to allow us early entry.

Great place!

This little house was perfect for four adults exploring the Cascades and Mount Baker areas. It was cozy, didn’t feel cramped and allowed us to cook and hang out for a few days. The setting by the river is nice, and the park at the tip of the cape is beautiful to walk to.

Fantastic home away from home

Cozy cottage on the river! We enjoyed the back deck and watching the river. We slept comfortably. The kitchen was well stocked as well as ample options for entertainment including games, movies, and books. If we are in the Concrete area again this is definitely going to be our home away from home.

Cool spot on the River

Everything was great with our stay, and the host was fantastic with communicating with us. The location is nice and close to Baker Lake and numerous other attractions in the North Cascades.

Clean house with a great view

The house is well kept with a beautiful river view off back deck. Shower has great water pressure. Perfect location to go to Cascades. Downtown is quaint.

Skagit River Eagle Tour

We needed a place to stay a few nights. This place was the best option for two of us. The place was clean and comfortable. We spent more time outdoors so we were satisfied with the place.

Perfect for a get away

The view of the river from the back porch is just beautiful, even in December. I cracked a window each night and listened to the river rush by. The heat worked great, keeping us cozy while we enjoyed the Roku tv after the sun went down. The beds were very comfortable, and the water pressure and hot water in the shower were great after being out in the cold during the day.

Nice place to stay

The cottage was comfortable and soooo clean and organized. We were so impressed! Robin has thought of everything needed for a comfortable stay. It was convenient to North Cascade National Park and the town of Concrete with a grocery store and restaurants. The neighborhood is not up to the same standard but we felt safe and cozy in Robin’s cottage.

Great place for hiking the cascaded

Only took a half hour to get to the park. The hiking and the park were great. Very clean. Well equiped. Everything you need. The River the property is on was beautiful

Perfect for NCNP Visit

We stayed here as our home base for our trip to North Cascades. The house was easy to find, just the right size, and close to great food and NCNP. We loved getting to enjoy our morning coffee by the river, and loved all of the restaurant recommendations that Robin gave. Robin was an amazing host. The house was well stocked and the beds and climate were comfortable for all. We appreciated the little touches like sandwich bags and paper plates/silverware. Robin was so quick to respond to all of our questions about the house and area which made it feel even more like home. We absolutely recommend this place, Concrete and Robin for your North Cascades trip!

We were very pleased with having a clean, comfortable home to stay in at night, especially after long days of hiking in the Cascades. The property sits alongside the Skagit River with large trees in the back. Very beautiful and relaxing. Communication with the host was great and check-in/check-out was easy. Robin also provided brochures about the Cascades and the town of Concrete which were helpful and interesting. Very satisfied with our stay.

Mallory Cottage has a beautiful view and access to the Skagit River. The cute cottage is well maintained and fully equipped! It has two full bedrooms complete with extra bedding and storage areas. All the rooms are spacious with well-preserved vintage furniture. Everything is clean and in working order. Our host, Robin, responds to questions immediately and is very helpful.

The nearby Community beach is easy to walk to. The road in the community are flat and great for a jog in the morning. I love to sip my coffee from the deck and watch the river.
