Important Note About North Cascades National Park:
We are a short 11 minute drive to the North Cascades National Park! During the winter (typically end of November/early December through April/May) part of Highway 20 and driving access to the park are closed. You are still able to get to our Cabin using Highway 20 as that section is open all year round, but you are unable to access the park. You are, however, able to drive to the entrance, park and snow shoe in if you'd like.
The part of Highway 20 that is closed is on the west side at milepost 134 at the Ross Dam Trailhead and on the east side, at milepost 171 at the Silver Star Gate, near Mazama.
An alternative hiking destination for the winter months is the Rockport State Park which is only a 4 minute drive from the cabin. You are able to purchase a day pass on your phone once you arrive.
OTHER THINGS TO NOTE:
As the cabin is located in a remote, secluded area, keep in mind that there are friendly neighborhood dogs that you may see around or may pop by and say hello!
It isn't often, but there could be occasional wifi outages due to weather-related reasons. We try our best to monitor these outages, and give our guests a heads up!

What a special place. The location is beautiful and secluded, bordered by a beautiful mossy rock wall and a babbling brook. Sheila and Victor went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable with recommendations for dinner, a nice welcome basket, and an easy check-out process. We enjoyed the hot tub, board games, and tea/hot cocoa! Thank you!

Clean and well organized this lovely little secluded cabin was a wonderful getaway.
The cabin is located on a beautiful, private piece of land with many indoor and outdoor spaces to relax and detach the craziness of the world. The kitchen is well appointed enabling you to concoct whatever culinary delights will warm your heart. The covered hot tub is a delight at the end of a day of hiking. There is a lot of natural beauty along Highway 20. You will, of course, want to enjoy the on-property waterfall, but don't the Hegg-Benson trail along Barr Creek just up the road from the cabin. If you are looking for a place in the Highway 20 corridor, I highly recommend this one!

I was pretty late getting out to the place but when I say it's worth the drive and experience. It is by far the best place I have ever gone too. The hosts are perfect and makes sure you have everything you need. I wish I could stay longer or booked it for longer. It was my birthday gift to myself.

Happy belated birthday! That is so wonderful to hear, I'm thrilled you enjoyed your stay :) please feel free to come visit again anytime
Communication with Sheila the host was on point from booking to check out. The property was absolutely as advertised. There is no need to panic if you forget anything. They have everything (and it’s labeled). When the weather clears up, stargazing is an absolute must. Standing in the middle of the yard and looking straight up presents an amazing view of the night sky. And, lastly, Sutter Creek running right behind the property adds an incredible ambiance to the stay.

Great little get away! We came to visit the North Cascades and this was a great location for that. Loved the property, very pretty and spacious outdoor area were we enjoyed the firepit, hottub and brought cornhole to play outside. It was hard to go back to the city, enjoyed being surround by all the trees.
We truly enjoyed our stay here! The cabin was clean, they were very thoughtful about items supplied and the location was perfect. We were able to spend the days hiking in the North Cascades National Park and the evenings relaxing at the cabin in the hottub or exploring beautiful creek that runs behind it. We would absolutely love to stay here again!

This was an excellent property. It was quiet and secluded just as advertised. The hot tub was so clean, they even have sandals for you to walk down to the hot tub. There is a trail leading to a waterfall that is one of the prettiest trails we took on out trip. The host had a book that had information on everything in the cabin and of all the dining and hiking in the surrounding area. Wonderful stay!
We had an amazing time staying at the cabin! The private waterfall was beautiful. Was able to enjoy the North Cascades!

About the host
Hosted by Sheila Garcia
Hi there, I'm Sheila! I'm a born and raised Californian who was drawn to the majestic beauty of Washington. I truly feel that our cabin embodies all of the things we love most about the state, from the lush green woods to the trickling creek! I love hosting and my goal is always to make my guests feel as at home as possible.
Why they chose this property
We picked this spot because it just felt magical. It’s tucked away in the forest near the North Cascades, so it’s super peaceful but still close to amazing hikes and waterfalls. I love how quiet it is out here—you can hear the creek, see the stars at night, and really unwind. It’s the kind of place that helps you slow down and just enjoy the moment :)
What makes this property unique
The cabin is super cozy and tucked into the woods, so it really feels like a peaceful escape. There’s a private hot tub, a wood-burning fireplace, and even a waterfall on the property—which still blows my mind! It’s comfy, quiet, and has everything you need to relax after a day of exploring. Whether you're making s’mores, cooking dinner, or just chilling with a good book, it’s a great place to slow down and enjoy nature.
