Black Bear Bungalow (part of Coops Creek Cabins) is a comfortable 300 square foot cabin nestled in a cozy, wooded hollow on Coops Creek. We are adjacent to the Historic Dunlap Coke Ovens Park, and only one mile from the center of Dunlap - giving our visitors a quaint, secluded accommodation with the convenience of being in town.
Centrally located, visitors can enjoy day trips to Chattanooga, Crossville, McMinnville, Jasper, Murfreeboro, Woodbury, etc. (This includes Fall Creek Falls State Park, Cumberland Mountain State Park and Rock Island State Park). There are several restaurants and boutique style shops in Dunlap for those who want a more laid back visit.
Start your day enjoying your morning coffee on the back deck overlooking Coops Creek, and end your day by a warm fire crackling in the firepit. Our quaint cabins are cozy and whimsical, while also offering comfort and convenience to each and every guest.
Black Bear Bungalow offers a double bed in the loft and a queen bed in the fold out sofa.
The kitchen includes a microwave, toaster oven/airfryer combo, a one eye burner, a refrigerator and a coffee maker.
The full bathroom has a stand up shower, a sink/vanity, and a regular toilet.
Free parking is provided on site.
The adjacent park provides several walking and hiking trails, and there are other trails in the area as well. Abundant wildlife can often be seen around the cabins and the park, so keep a look out while visiting.
