Great location-- close but not in the main square. The extensive recommendations were so helpful, and it's clear Annette cares deeply about a good guest experience. As others have said, those stairs are steep, so I probably would not stay here with small children or those with mobility issues. But it was fine for us.

The loft was clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated. We were just a short walk away from Old Town. Annette, our host, was lovely. She allowed us to check in early and gave us chocolates and tourist maps. It was a perfect stay. Just a note of caution: guests must be able to go up and down a couple of steep staircases to reach the loft.

Annette is a fantastic hostess. Warm and hospitable, she kindly allowed us to check our bags in early, while she busily prepared our apartment. The place was spotless! Conveniently located in a quiet area, a very short walk to the markt! The rooms were spacious and she was very responsive when we did communicate l!If ever I'm able to travel back to Bruges, I will look to stay here again!

Annette was very proactive about reaching out and providing helpful information about Bruges to us before we arrived. She met us at the door and showed us the flat. It was located on a quiet street, and the whole area felt very safe when we walked around at night. All of the sights were very walkable from the house. No lie that the stairs were not for the faint of heart! My daughter and I had to tag team getting the suitcases down the stairs at the end of the stay.Overall, it was perfect for two of us.

Annette is a wonderful host, always attentive to your comfort, and anticipating your needs. She welcomed my travel companion and I in person, which feels increasingly rare these days of coded keypads and communication exclusively by text message has become the norm. As convenient as that might be, nothing compares to the warmth of human contact, at least in my book! That said, the loft was spotless, cozy and ready for arrival. Both beds were comfortable. The old steep staircase leading up to it could be a bit daunting at first, but we managed to go up and down just fine. The location is excellent, within walking distance of the city center and surrounded by lots restaurants, bars, cafes to choose from. Annette also shared some good recommendations, and we tried a couple of places on her list that turned out to be fantastic.I wholeheartedly, recommend this lovely place and its wonderful host. Thank you Annette for such a warm welcome and for making us feel right at home!
