About this property

Ranch + cabin on 10 acres with gorge & mountain views, hot tub, dog friendly!

If you’re looking for a peaceful retreat full of views, you’ve found it. Perfect for groups who appreciate their outdoor space, the property offers a house with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms + an extra 1 bedroom/1 bathroom cabin. On 10 rolling acres, this stay is perfect for those who seek a spacious, sunlit retreat. Spend your days exploring Taos or relaxing around the property, and your nights soaking in the hot tub admiring the stars.

20 minutes north of downtown Taos and an easy drive from Taos Ski Valley, our property offers abundant space for leisurely dog walks, with miles of safe dirt roads right at your doorstep, along with nearby BLM land to explore. Close to hiking, biking, paddling, hot air balloons, skiing, and more.

You'll find a well-equipped kitchen, lots of books, and many extras. We welcome your well-behaved pups; there is a large fenced yard attached to the main house for them to roam.

Sleeping arrangements:
Primary bedroom: king bed w/en-suite bathroom
Second bedroom: queen bed w/en-suite bathroom
Guest cabin bedroom: full bed.
(additional small pull-out bed in cabin living room)

This is a somewhat remote high desert area, with all that entails. There are plenty of birds, bugs, and other wildlife around. You will likely hear the coyotes singing late at night and early in the morning.

The last 1.5 miles of the drive are on a smooth, maintained dirt road. While it will certainly get muddy after winter storms, you don't need 4WD or a lifted vehicle to get here.

The house stays cozy warm in winter with radiant floor heating, a woodstove, and plenty of solar gain from all the windows. Summers in Taos are usually comfortable, and the main house has one split AC unit to cool the living area on the warmest days. Multiple fans are provided for both the house and cabin.
