Clean but there are issues
The house pictures accurately represent the inside of the property. You can tell that it used to be pretty run down and has been recently renovated. All of the furniture is new and the mattress and pillows are comfortable. The house is small but sufficient for just sleeping and showering. However, the neighborhood is quite run down. The outside furniture is awful, the parking lot always smells like weed, and there was a cockroach inside. The communication with the host was absolutely poor. We had to call VRBO to get our check-in instructions and then he finally responded. We asked him a question a day after we arrived and he never responded. Ever. The air conditioner wasn’t working the last night. Oh, and one of the windows didn’t have a lock so we had to stick something in it to prevent someone from coming in from the outside. I would not stay here again and would only recommend if you need a comfy, cheap place. I think it will end up dirty and run down looking again soon, sadly. That white paint won’t last with a rental and there isn’t any ventilation over the stove or in the bathrooms which is going to lead to problems. We met the property manager who is renovating other units and he was very nice.
