The views were amazing! The bedrooms were spacious with comfy beds. We appreciated the convenient location to beautiful motorcycle rodeways. The cabin could use a deep cleaning, though, especially inside kitchen cupboards and upstairs bedroom ceiling fan. We would consider staying here again.
We had a great time at this cabin! Comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen, detailed house notes, very easy check in process, excellent communication with host. Be sure to lock your car doors and lock the cabin gate, as we did have a bear come visit us! Also, once you get into the community, the drive up to the cabin is quite steep and I did have to put my SUV into manual mode to make it up.
The cabin needs a little updating but it was great!

We are constantly working on the cabin. New recliner sofas recently. New dishwasher and revamped kitchen layout this last winter. Make your suggestions.
Cabin was very clean, host was pleasant, view was breathtaking. There were some minor problems but they were addressed quickly. We got a chance to arrive a few days early and our host gave us a discount on the additional days. Loved the area and we got to see bears! One actually came up on the porch! Hope to stay here again in future.

Everyone wants to see a bear until they get close. We are fortunate that black bears are not aggressive. Glad to be able to accommodate you early.
Very serene setting! Convenient location to access both Great Smoky Mountain National Park and all that Pigeon Forge has to offer without being too far from either. The community pool and recreation areas are a great bonus. Would definitely rent this cabin again!
Great location. We saw 2 bears during our stay! Large rooms and plenty of space for large families. Would stay again. This place had great views as well.

Shagbark is a bear sanctuary. Mothers and their cubs are often seen during the summer. Watch from a distance and do not try to feed. A beautiful View looks over a valley toward Maryville. New couches with electric recliner sides for your enjoyment.
We enjoyed the location of this cabin in Shagbark. It was quiet, peaceful, easy to get to, and the property was very clean. The setting was lovely and provided a nice place to get away and relax. There were, however, a few aspects of the cabin that were disappointing. The biggest was the lack of a rear deck or outdoor space where we could sit and enjoy the mountain views. Some of the living room furniture was ripped and could use updating, and the pillows were very flat and uncomfortable. One of the bedrooms was also somewhat unusual. It had two twin beds and wraparound windows but no curtains or shades, which made it difficult to control the morning light. The room appeared to be a former porch that had been enclosed rather than a traditional bedroom.Overall, the cabin was clean and in a great, quiet location, but a few updates to the furnishings, bedding, window coverings, and outdoor living space would make the property much more comfortable and enjoyable.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay this past week! The house is in a beautiful location, was very, very clean and all we could have asked for our family vacation!
What truly stood out was the perfect combination of all the elements. The host was exceptional: attentive, professional, and genuinely kind. The amenities were thoughtfully equipped, making the stay comfortable and hassle-free.In addition, the peaceful location, the stunning mountain views, and the unique experience of seeing deer around the cabin made the stay unforgettable

So glad you had a great stay. The deer are unusual. I have only seen a few over the years. You were great guests!
cabin location, general condition, and ample space for 6 adults very good the negatives were present of insects, condition of sofa, and the need for total indoor cleaning. We rated a plus over previous rentals

We have had pest control in weekly and remodeled the kitchen plus deep clean. It is hard to get into the cabin with back-to-back stays. We moved some guests to address these issues.
We had privacy, loved sitting in the swing, momma bear and 2 cubs came by, the roaches was our main negative.

We closed down the cabin for several weeks - moving guests so we could have pest control inside each week as we remodeled the kitchen. New dishwasher is now close to the sink and getting a deep clean.
