Experience majestic ocean views from one of our most popular oceanfront vacation homes! At Ocean Breeze the only thing missing is you.

Along with 4 refreshing bedrooms (one is a master suite), Ocean Breeze features your own hot tub, private dune-top walkway to the beaches of Kill Devil Hills and even WIFI. But nothing can surpass the gorgeous views of the great Atlantic and the amazing sunrises.

The Avalon Fishing Pier is just a short stroll away as are a few popular Outer Banks eateries. And the Wright Brother’s Memorial is only a couple miles away, too!

Only 1 small to medium size dog allowed (up to 60 lbs.).

Bring binoculars so you can watch the brown pelicans feeding and dolphins swimming by! Also, the beds appear to all have been replaced and we all found them to be very comfortable.

Ideal location, great layout, comfortable and well cared for. Would have liked to know ahead of time that no toilet paper or other amenities were included. We knew sheets were included, but not towels, so we rented boogie boards and towels from a local company. Walking distance to Target and Avalon Pier, so our teens could come and go as they pleased. Lovely top floor balcony. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked. This was my first experience of booking through VRBO but having all details handled by the on-site management company. That arrangement wasn't clear on the VRBO listing or acknowledged in the paperwork sent by Carolina Shores, so it was a bit confusing. Overall it was a wonderful stay and we would certainly book again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our stay in this little house on the beach. We had no issues and enjoyed waking up to the view of the beach each morning. I'd imagine it would be a bit tight if all the rooms were filled, but four of us cohabitated well. We liked that it was an older home and felt more authentic than the glitzy monstrosities that have replaced many of the older Hatteras style homes. Maybe a bit pricy for the size - but nothing beats beachfront.

Perfect location

Loved the house and the location! I just have one itsy bitsy complaint. I had emailed through VRBO a question regarding the property and no one replied. I found the listing on VRBO and there was a $700 fee! I would think someone would have the courtesy of a reply with that astronomical fee. Also, there was zero instructions on how to check in. I had to reach out to Carolina Realty for instructions. However, I will say that the staff was incredibly nice at Carolina Realty and would definitely stay at one of their properties in the future.

This property is fantastic. I do however think the management company could use some work. Both times I stayed it was a HUGE hassle to get paperwork submitted to them. I authorized my last payment and they never took it until I called three days before the trip and asked about it. This last time the linens werent installed when I got in. Thats not a huge deal except I paid for the service, They fixed it after I asked about it and were great in doing so, and very apologetic. I think that if they take this feedback and work on improving this would be a grade A experience.

Misleading listing with excellent location

This property first of all was well maintained and has an excellent location with a beautiful view, especially from the balcony. The first issue for us was the rental agreement which was extremely detailed, was on paper with no online option, and felt like we were signing a long-term rental agreement for an apartment. Secondly, there was no notification on the listing that linens were not provided but was detailed in the rental contract with an extra fee. After paying the additional fee, on top of an already pricey rental fee, we did get linens prior to our arrival. Thirdly, essential items were not included in the home such as hand soap, dish soap, paper towels, or enough toilet paper for our stay. We did notify the managing company about the toilet paper issue and they stated that if we had checked in during normal business hours we would have been provided more. Lastly, the cleanliness of the property was lacking. There was a clump of hair stuck to the wall in one of the showers and grease on the stove top when we arrived. Overall, property is a great family property with great location.

Quaint Beach Home

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our second year in this home. It served us well both years. The location is great and the views are perfect. We had 5 adults and 2 children during our stay with no spacing issues. The kitchen is stocked with what you need for the week. The only addition I would make is containers for leftovers for those who cook in. We had left some behind last year but they were gone this year. The walk to the beach is not far and the foot washing station and outdoor shower are great for your returns from the beach. We would recommend this house to others and would stay in it again.

Overall, great stay

The property was as explained - great location, very clean when we got there, and overall a good experience. The washing machine did break while we were there which was an inconvenience and wasn't repaired until after we left. We also arrived at the check-in office 2 hours early and even though the property was finished being cleaned, the office would not hand us the keys until 4 pm on the dot. I understand that it's policy, but as a small business owner myself, if it were me I would've handed over the keys and not made the guests wait in the lobby. Just seemed a bit silly. But overall, we would return.

As for the 4 O'Clock check in, I know you stated the home was cleaned and ready but it may have not been inspected. This home in particular, the owner personally inspects and checks inventory to see if there are any supplies that are needed or maintenance issues. We are glad that this did not damper the overall experience. We do hope to see you in 2023.

The absolute best location!

To say this location is amazing doesn't cut it. It was the very best place to be in my opinion. Right in the middle of OBX, and all I can say is pay the extra and stay right on the beach if you can. It was 100% worth it! We would see people walking for blocks with all their beach gear to get there....we just grabbed our towels and went. The grown kids could go down when they wanted, we could see them from the top deck. It was so very pleasant, relaxing and just a perfect vacation. The sunrises each morning were amazing! Such an amazing view!
