Earl and Brigitte's home was the perfect choice for us, with it's close proximity to the water and to downtown PG. The house has a very comfortable layout and is fully supplied with everything one needs for an extended stay. Earl and Brigitte were very easy to communicate with and pleasant to deal with.

We would like to thank you for the very kind review, and we are glad to hear you enjoyed your visit.
Unfortunately, because another guest was checking in the same day you checked out, we did not have the flexibility to alter the check out time. Our housekeepers make up their schedule at the beginning of the month, and have other commitments in addition to our house. Because they take three and one half hours to completely clean and stage our house, we need the "cushion" before the next guest arrives.
If we can accommodate our guests with an early check in or a late check out, we always do so.

Centrally located in a very quiet neighborhood. Short walk to the ocean.
This was our second visit to this home and we enjoyed it as much as we did the first time. Brigette and Earl the owners were wonderful to work with. We had everything we needed at the house and enjoyed having the barbecue. The home was clean and nicely decorated. It could use a little TLC as it is starting to show some wear as a rental. We would certainly recommend this home as a great place to stay and we will return for another girls golfing trip. Thank you Brigitte and Earl.

Hi Debbie,
Thank you for your comments and for the review. We are very glad to hear you enjoyed your visit.
Usually, as we well into the summer season, the house starts to show a little cosmetic wear because it has been heavily used for several months. With eight to nine turnovers each month some scratched paint is inevitable. When we have a couple of days vacant, we will be at the house with paint brushes in hand, we will have a handyman/contractor do a few minor jobs, and the house will be sparkling like new.
Thanks again,
Earl
This was the second year in a row we stayed at this property. Once again everything was perfect. I only wanted to note one thing for the owners of the property. The cold water faucet in the second bedroom bath room area is not working correctly. it seems a bit sticky and it may get worse or create a problem in the future. I noticed it the first day we were there and was extra careful with it the remainder of our stay. My wife noted that the toaster in the kitchen only seems to toast one side of the bread so we had to turn the bread over to get both sides toasted. The batteries in the Television remote are old and need replacement and I bought a new light bulb for the front porch. These are just minor notes and not items that disrupted or diminished our stay. We love the house and it is very comfortable and in a quiet neighborhood with easy access to all of the facilities (golf, restaurants, shopping) in Pacific Grove. We look forward to our next visit.

Hello Samuel,
We would like to thank you for the review and we are delighted to read how much you enjoyed your visit.
We appreciate your feed back. We will have our housekeeper change the batteries in the tv remote and check the toaster and cold water faucet. We are replacing all the outside lighting fixtures because they deteriorate in the salt air. That work should be completed today (Sunday).
Thank you again for your comments.

Cleanest place we’ve stayed in PG. Owners are great, and the location and amenities cannot be beat. House is exactly as pictured in listing. Nice little garden area in back with table and chairs was great for pre-dinner glass of wine - you can hear the ocean! Very enjoyable stay.
This is a great house just a block or so from the shore. We lo ed walking along the coast and down to lover's point. Very clean, spacious home. Kitchen has plenty of utensils- we cooked a few meals here and the kitchen was great for that.
Beware- wood flooring is incredibly creaky and noisy. Makes it hard to sleep if anyone is up and walking around.
This is a lovely home. My friends and I wanted to schedule a relaxing getaway to celebrate a birthday. This was perfect. The house is beautiful, comfortable and spotless. The neighborhood is so quiet and peaceful. It met all of our expectations.
Five of us ladies spent 4 days here. It was the perfect getaway. We walked all over, did some watercolor painting, watched movies, BBQ’d, and just enjoyed our vacation! We all wished we could have stayed a full week. We hope to come back!
This was our first stay at 1032 Balboa Ave and the home was exactly what we expected. The location is perfect & the home accommodated our families needs which included large bedrooms and a spacious living area. We love the location because your steps away from the ocean, Point Pinos Lighthouse, Monarch Butterfly Sanctuary, great restaurants & coffee on Lighthouse Ave, and roughly 2 miles from the Monterey Bay Aquarium. Can't wait to stay here again!
We thoroughly enjoyed out stay in Pacific Grove. The home is in a great neighborhood literally a block from the ocean trail. We walked along the ocean to the aquarium and Cannery Row, about 3 miles away, as the weather was gorgeous. The home is quite clean and well cared for. If you are looking for something that has been fully updated and is ultra plush, this is not the place for you. But if you are looking for a warm, inviting, comfortable, well appointed and cared for home that is relaxing and affordable, then you should look no further! We were 110% satisfied with this gem!
We stayed at the yellow house for a week and absolutely loved it. The house looks exactly as pictured and has every detail and essential accounted for. The house is a quick walk to the beach and a very short drive to pretty Pacific Grove and Monterey. Deer frequent the neighborhood which is tranquil and helps you escape completely. We highly recommend this property.
We had a great stay so close to the beach. The house had everything that we needed. It was in a safe neighborhood and was only a quick walk to the ocean, shopping and restaurants. A wonderful house for a girls weekend!
Our little group just loved this place! Plenty of room (considering 4 of our group had illness/family emergency). Close to our starting line and even ran by the street on the course- thank you!!
This is the most perfect house to stay in Pacific Grove! It's has great access to the beaches, close to shopping and plenty of coastal viewing. The Yellow Bungalow is always in wonderful immaculate condition and so great to cozy up in the evenings. Totally warm and comfortable to stay in. We've spent 5 years renting this home for our annual sibling's get-together and are so looking forward to many more!
We really enjoyed this wonderful house with a great location. The house was very clean and had all of the comforts of home. The movie selections was really great also, we didn't need to go out an rent movies. The short distance to the ocean, Cannery Row and Fisherman's Wharf was perfect. Also, the weather that weekend could not be beat.
The little yellow house was a perfect spot for us. The location to the ocean and to town was great. The house is very clean and comfortable.
