Thanks so much for the kind review. We look forward to having you back
The property has 3 levels of bedrooms which makes it perfect for vacationing with different couples and/or families. There are two decks, each level has outside dining, a swing and seating areas. Fishing is off the dock. Enough room for 3 people fishing. The furniture is comfortable. The bedrooms have blackout curtains and comfortable mattresses. Only 1 of the 4 bedrooms has a tv which is okay because we were there for hiking and being outside! It was nice having 2 family rooms. The downstairs has a pool table and a video game machine along with couch seating and a tv. If you are staying a week, bring extra dishwasher detergent.
The cabin was absolutely stunning. The lake made a great addition, even though it rained the large covered porches allowed for fun. We had tons of space and we're able to play cornhole on the bottom level. The cabin was well stocked and had ample storage space so we were able to put everything away! The baby highchair, 3 bathrooms and game room were wonderful! The host was great and easy to contact, responding very quickly. Thanks I would definitely stay again if I am ever in the area.
This is one of the nicest VRBOs we have stayed in. Everything was very well thought out, from a well stocked kitchen to plenty of bath towels. The layout of the cabin was perfect with plenty of space, cozy blankets for the couches, indoor and outdoor dining tables, and super fun game room. My kids loved playing pool, sitting on the porch swing with a book, and watching newts by the shore of the pond. The cabin was close to all the hiking we wanted to do, as well as Gorge Underground. The hot tub was clean and well cared for, as well. Our family didn't want to leave and we hope to make it back someday!

Thanks so much for choosing "WoodNYouLoveIt" cabin. Thanks for the kind words. Hope to see you again soon
Great cabin. Had a good time fishing at the pond and making fires. Inside the kids had a good time with the arcade game and pool table. Plenty of room, very clean. Everything was so nice. Communication was quick and prompt. There were no issues. Would definitely recommend and stay here again. My only tip to anyone staying is, make sure if you want to fish to bring your own hooks lures bobbers etc. The general stores may have worms but that’s about it. Also, any type of first aid stuff and tape! Random, but one kids headphones snapped; you don’t realize how much tape comes in handy until you don’t have any!! Small things we didn’t think of- but there’s not one thing I can critique or complain about when it comes to the cabin or the owner. It was perfect!
We traveled as a family of three and another family of four joined us. 4 adults, 3 kids. This was truly the best experience. The location, the amenities (dock with fishing, fire pit area, hot tub, pool table, arcade game), the views, clean, comfortable beds, smart tvs, fully equipped kitchen, linens galore, close to restaurants, hiking, zip lining, kayaking! All. Of. The. Things. Such an amazing place to stay! The kids, and the adults, had a fantastic Spring Break.

Thank you so much for your stay and kind review. We’re glad everyone had a good time
We had a great time staying here with our family and another. Home was just as listed and provides very well with multiple living areas. Beautiful setting on a small lake with price dock. Would highly recommend.
Great house with plenty of space to spread out. Comfortable beds. Kitchen was well stocked. Plenty of towels were provided. They even provided some soap, dishwasher detergent and dish soap. A starter supply of firewood was even there! Great location close to parks.
This is one of the best cabins we have stayed at! New, clean, comfortable and really nice furnishings! Absolutely loved hanging on the deck with great views and the hot tub was perfect for relaxing! Great weekend getaway for four couples!
Wow, what a property! This place has everything you need!!!! I would definitely rent again in the future. A big thank you to the owners for sharing this gem.The Mosler's
The cabin was very clean/newer and close to hiking including the Natural Bridge and restaurants. The zip lining was also located in the same community. There was plenty of space for my family of four plus my parents including lots of outdoor areas. It had a lot of nice touches like blackout curtains and ceiling fans in the bedrooms. Our kids loved playing the arcade game and checkers in the lower level game room. Overall it was a great stay and we would definitely return again.

Thanks for the great review and glad your family had a great time. Come see us again
The cabin had everything that you would need for a stay. The kitchen had plenty of dishes, pots and pans plus cooking utensils. The cabin was very clean, and bathrooms stocked with hand soap and towels.
Great cabin! Well stocked and private. Plenty of towels and amenities. (Which is important when the whole family is there!) We could spread out and all enjoy our own thing but then there was plenty of space at the huge kitchen table to come back together for meals or board games. Host was excellent at accommodating our last minute requests!
We have stayed in a lot of rental homes. This was absolutely one of the best. It was by far the cleanest, which is especially impressive given that it’s in the woods. No spider webs, no bugs, no dirty hidden corners. The house was incredibly well stocked, including an air fryer, a blender, lots of pots, pans, spices, utensils, cups, plates, etc. The location was great for checking out the area. We caught lots of fish off the dock, including a 22” catfish. The first few days were absolute bliss. It was so quiet. The only sounds were birds (birders, this place is for you), peepers, bullfrogs, and the two baby deer playing in the yard and the pond. Toward the end of the week, people came to the nearby cabins (you cannot see them). The way the valley is, sound travels. No one was obnoxious, but you cannot hear people going on with their business. It wasn’t bothersome, but that initial quiet was so, so nice. Be aware that there are LOTS of stairs. The driveway is also steep in and out, but the road is a circle, which we didn’t realize until day three. lol The fire pit was fantastic and the hot tub was clean. The game room was hugely popular. So much space! I have already recommended the property to others. Absolutely loved it.

Thanks so much for taking the time to write such a nice review. And we have seen those catfish but you’re the first one I’ve heard caught one. Great job!
3 generations of our family stayed at this property. It was clean, comfortable, and there was plenty of space to spread out.The pond is peaceful. It was in close proximity to hiking at both red river gorge and natural bridge state park. The owner was wonderful to work with.
I would have to say that this was one of the most satisfying cabin stays I’ve yet to experience! Great for rainy days, adventuring the national area, and a wonderful base for any functions or reunions being held at the lodge! Would definitely return!
We had a great stay at this gorgeous cabin. Plenty of space in this three story masterpiece, with two wrap-around porches and a game room. Close to many fine restaurants and activities. Red River Gorge, Nada Tunnel Drive, Under Gorge, and Skylift are just a few things very close to the cabin. We even had deer visitors on the property, which also has a private dock on a small pond. Located in a very quiet neighborhood. If you are in the area, I highly recommend this property.

About the host

We are from Louisville. We discovered The Gorge and fell in love. We use the cabin for our own family and make it available to others also.
Why they chose this property
Cliffview Resort is one of the best locations and settings we found. Close to everything. We love the wildlife and being on the lake. We went to great lengths to shape the lot, firepit area, and steps to the lake into the hillside. There are great wedding/ reunion venues also within the resort. Great for families
What makes this property unique
It's newer than most in the area. Great amenities and setting
