Enjoy the many amenities of the Galena Territory- community indoor year round pool, gym, and seasonal outdoor pools. Lake Galena is a scenic lake, great for fishing and boating (not swimming). Kayaks and pontoons can be rented from the Galena Territory. Also a beautiful waterfall (10-15 min drive), riding stables and more! Downtown Galena is really special- amazing shops, restaurants, wine tasting, historic sites, Haunted Tours, Trolly Tours, and more. Chestnut Mountain is about 25 min drive away, for skiing, zip lining and more.

Dogs are welcome if well behaved. Extra pet fee will apply.

Parking is free, and on the property.

Please note, the property is surrounded by woods, so there are insects outside and occasionally inside.

Amazing nearby attractions, including golfing, wineries, fishing, hiking, horse stables and more. Downtown Galena is approximately at 10 minute drive, and has trolley tours, haunted ghost tours, fabulous restaurants and shopping and more.

You will have the entire house other than small locked owners closets.

We are family owned home. We will share our cell phone upon booking in case issues arise.

This home is in the Galena Territory- it's surrounded by wooded areas, trails, and community amenities.

There isn't easy public transportation so you will need a car. Uber is only sometimes available.
There is plenty of parking.

We provide firewood. You may need to bring kindling wood/cardboard, although we try to provide when able.

We do not give refunds due to weather. We strongly encourage everyone to buy travel insurance.

This house is beautiful and clean! We stayed for three nights with our adult children and their significant others (8 of us total). It is clear that the host has put a lot of thought into making this home beautiful, comfortable and accommodating for people of all ages. Our children like to stay busy so the pool table, the card table, the ping pong table, and the hot tub were big hits with us. We also enjoyed the “hidden” room, we were all able to relax in there comfortably and watch a movie. I would recommend this home to anyone!

The house was perfect for our family to meet up and stay over Christmas. Beautifully decorated, warm and inviting. Game room and hot tub were a hit with everyone. And that hidden room blew the kids minds! Everything we could need and more was provided. We literally would not have had to leave for any reason, but the club house added another level of fun for all and we did enjoy Galena. The host, Beth, was available and accommodating. Highly recommend!

The perfect family getaway; Our family stayed here for two nights, and it was exactly what we needed after a tough year. The home was absolutely beautiful—spotless, comfortable, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we could possibly need for both rest and entertainment. Every detail was clearly well planned. The house is stunning. Plenty of room for 6 adults plus at least 3 kids and that's all in beds! There are 5, large comfortable couches as well. Firepit and fireplace are gresr on chilly dats. Hot tub was very clean! And the secret room.....well you'll have to go and see for yourself!

Property was beautifully decorated. Beth was extremely responsive and even same day ordered an extra fan for us. My kids thought the secret room was great and it was very nice to have pool table, ping pong and poker. Used the gym and the pool at the owners club but it was a little hot for tennis. Very nice stay - including very easy check in and out.

Perfect Getaway

This stay was one of the best for our family! The home is immaculately designed, decorated and equipped! Anything you might need has been thought of and provided. The setting is peaceful and surrounded by trees and beautiful birds that come and visit while you enjoy your morning coffee! Our three teenagers easily left their phones to the side to enjoy the property and that was priceless! The bonus was listening to their excitement when they discovered the hidden room! Having a dog friendly option was icing on the cake. Just perfection!

One of the best VRBOs at which we've stayed

This place looked great in the photos and we were stunned when it actually looked better in-person. We were three families with 5 kids among us and if was plenty of space. Every room was thoughtfully decorated and there is a ton of stuff to do in the house (hot tub, pool table, secret room, arcade games, cotton candy machine, on and on). We really didn't even get to enjoy all the activities so we were already planning on booking again to go back. The host was very responsive and helpful with any needs and checked in often to make sure everything was going well. I really can't think if anything but positives to say! What a great place!

Celebrating Christmas Early

The house is beautiful with so much to do. There were 9 of us. My kids and friends ages 16-24 and me. We loved playing pool and ping-pong. The hot tub was awesome. We had enough room for everyone to sleep. I loved the dining room table because there was enough room for all of us to sit together and enjoy our meals.

Family Get Away

This house was awesome and perfect for our family - we were 7 adults, 2 toddlers and an infant. It’s in a great location in the Galena Territory with access to the owner’s club. The property is very well maintained, clean, well stocked. Very spacious and comfortable with a great layout. The upper floor was terrific for the kids — sleeping and play area. My granddaughters had so much fun with all the available toys. It is a very kid friendly house … even to having children dishes/ flatware which the little girls loved. The lower level was awesome with pool and ping pong tables, etc and the hidden room was a big hit! The fire pit was really nice with lots of available firewood. It would have been nice to have another day to just enjoy the house and its amenities. Communication with the host (Beth) was excellent!! Extremely quick to reply to emails and checked in with us on arrival to be sure all good. We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this property. We would definitely stay here again.
