We absolutely LOVED this home! It had everything we could possibly want. We have stayed at many vrbos. This home was stocked with much more than any of the prior homes we've stayed in. There was SO MANY choices of entertainment. Pool and ping pong tables, fire pit with lots of wood, hot tub, games, laser tag, the secret room was a fun find, "ax" throwing, toys and games for kids... The home was very clean, nicely furnished. It's a perfect rental for multi generational families, friend groups.. And Beth the host was very responsive and helpful. Seriously, it was just the best home!

The facade of the house belies the fact that it is enormous inside, with commodious bedrooms and baths, a lodge-like living room with a stony fireplace, a big kitchen well stocked with appliances and all necessary dinner, table and glassware. And there's a big deck that can seat a dozen with a large grill. The downstairs is devoted to fun, with pool, pingpong, another viewing room and access to the hot tub and yard with firepit. There is also the "secret" Theater Room, a cozy space with well stuffed couches and a fanciful decor for enjoying a huge screen TV. The upstairs is kidland, with a toy room and a cozy bedroom suitable for three or more small folk. The nearby community pool is of a resort-level quality and quite a perk. And the proximity to charming Galena and all the area has to offer makes this a VRBO experience to recommend most highly.

This house is beautiful and clean! We stayed for three nights with our adult children and their significant others (8 of us total). It is clear that the host has put a lot of thought into making this home beautiful, comfortable and accommodating for people of all ages. Our children like to stay busy so the pool table, the card table, the ping pong table, and the hot tub were big hits with us. We also enjoyed the “hidden” room, we were all able to relax in there comfortably and watch a movie. I would recommend this home to anyone!

The house was perfect for our family to meet up and stay over Christmas. Beautifully decorated, warm and inviting. Game room and hot tub were a hit with everyone. And that hidden room blew the kids minds! Everything we could need and more was provided. We literally would not have had to leave for any reason, but the club house added another level of fun for all and we did enjoy Galena. The host, Beth, was available and accommodating. Highly recommend!

The home was spotless—truly one of the cleanest rentals we’ve ever stayed in—and it was clear the owners take great pride in maintaining it.It was fully equipped with everything our family needed and more. From the kitchen essentials to thoughtful touches throughout the home, we never found ourselves missing anything. The perfect family getaway; Our family stayed here for two nights, and it was exactly what we needed after a tough year. The home was absolutely beautiful—spotless, comfortable, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we could possibly need for both rest and entertainment. Every detail was clearly well planned. The house is stunning. Plenty of room for 6 adults plus at least 3 kids and that's all in beds! There are 5, large comfortable couches as well. Firepit and fireplace are gresr on chilly dats. Hot tub was very clean! And the secret room.....well you'll have to go and see for yourself!

The cabin was amazing shape and in very good condition. The host made sure everything was in great condition and made sure everything was well. The secret room and amenities really made it so that we did not want to leave. Would definitely return.

Property was beautifully decorated. Beth was extremely responsive and even same day ordered an extra fan for us. My kids thought the secret room was great and it was very nice to have pool table, ping pong and poker. Used the gym and the pool at the owners club but it was a little hot for tennis. Very nice stay - including very easy check in and out.

We loved our stay here. I would highly recommend this home to everyone. Our host Beth was so nice and extremely helpful with tips about the area. We had a group of 8, (2 sixteen year olds, a nineteen year old and three 21 year olds and my husband and I.) There was plenty of room for us all to gather as a family or spread out for some personal time! We planned our stay in Galena to be a staycation and mostly just hang out with the family. This home was perfect for that. We had lots of fun with the ping pong table and pool table. We all spent some time in the hottub as well. There was also plenty of room for all of us to eat our meals together and play games around the huge dining room table. We used the Galena Territory passes to spend an afternoon at the pool and pickle ball courts. The area the home is in is beautiful. It's about a 15 minute ride to main street shopping. We took lots of walks throughout the neighborhood. My son is a runner so he was able to get his training in on all the hills there! We felt very safe where we were. Very little noise and traffic where we were.The home has absolutely everything you can think of. It is by far the nicest, cleanest and best stocked home we've stayed in and we've been to a lot of VRBOs.

Perfect Getaway

This stay was one of the best for our family! The home is immaculately designed, decorated and equipped! Anything you might need has been thought of and provided. The setting is peaceful and surrounded by trees and beautiful birds that come and visit while you enjoy your morning coffee! Our three teenagers easily left their phones to the side to enjoy the property and that was priceless! The bonus was listening to their excitement when they discovered the hidden room! Having a dog friendly option was icing on the cake. Just perfection!

Celebrating Christmas Early

The house is beautiful with so much to do. There were 9 of us. My kids and friends ages 16-24 and me. We loved playing pool and ping-pong. The hot tub was awesome. We had enough room for everyone to sleep. I loved the dining room table because there was enough room for all of us to sit together and enjoy our meals.

One of the best VRBOs at which we've stayed

This place looked great in the photos and we were stunned when it actually looked better in-person. We were three families with 5 kids among us and if was plenty of space. Every room was thoughtfully decorated and there is a ton of stuff to do in the house (hot tub, pool table, secret room, arcade games, cotton candy machine, on and on). We really didn't even get to enjoy all the activities so we were already planning on booking again to go back. The host was very responsive and helpful with any needs and checked in often to make sure everything was going well. I really can't think if anything but positives to say! What a great place!

Family Get Away

This house was awesome and perfect for our family - we were 7 adults, 2 toddlers and an infant. It’s in a great location in the Galena Territory with access to the owner’s club. The property is very well maintained, clean, well stocked. Very spacious and comfortable with a great layout. The upper floor was terrific for the kids — sleeping and play area. My granddaughters had so much fun with all the available toys. It is a very kid friendly house … even to having children dishes/ flatware which the little girls loved. The lower level was awesome with pool and ping pong tables, etc and the hidden room was a big hit! The fire pit was really nice with lots of available firewood. It would have been nice to have another day to just enjoy the house and its amenities. Communication with the host (Beth) was excellent!! Extremely quick to reply to emails and checked in with us on arrival to be sure all good. We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this property. We would definitely stay here again.

This house was absolutely perfect for our girl’s getaway. We were a party of eight women and three dogs and there was plenty of room for all. The gathering space in the living room was very comfortable and there was enough room throughout the home for comfortable sleeping arrangements. We especially enjoyed the bonfire in the outdoor fire pit with seating for eight. We all agreed we would definitely stay here again.

From first communication to last, the experience was great. The whole house was clean and organized bedrooms were all great and mattresses were comfortable. Kitchen was properly stocked as we made a home-cooked meal while we were there. The downstairs hidden room was extremely exciting for our son and there was plenty of games and entertainment to make this stay great. Hot tub and fire pit were also used and made the evening very nice and relaxing. Definitely intend on coming back.
