Starshine Cottage - Geneva on the Lake - Renovated and Ready to Rent

Starshine is a two-bedroom Sears and Roebuck cottage that was constructed in 1950. It was completely restored and renovated to better-than-new condition in 2013.

Bamboo floors, comfortable modern furnishings, ceiling fans, lots of windows, and the beautiful surrounding woods make this the perfect getaway cottage.

Starshine is tucked away in a quiet neighborhood on the east end of the Geneva-on-the-Lake strip (Ohio's oldest resort town). It is one block away from the beautiful waters of Lake Erie and the Township Park, and one block from the fun and excitement of the Geneva-on-the-Lake strip.

Starshine is a two-bedroom cottage with a queen bed in each room, and there is one bathroom with a shower. Bed linens and pillows are provided; bath towels, wash cloths, toiletries and beach towels are not provided. Full-size kitchen is equipped with all cookware and dishes. Maximum of four guests, please. Starshine is situated on two large private lots, with plenty of room for lawn sports. No smoking. No pets.

Starshine is a beautiful little cottage two blocks from the lake. Its proximity to the park and to the beginning of the strip offers an excellent opportunity for nice walks and entertainment. We absolutely enjoyed our stay this summer and already planning for next year.

The cottage was in a perfect location--close to the strip to walk there, but far away enough that noise was not a problem. You could see the lake from the front porch! All of the amenities made it a really easy place to stay for a long weekend.

Great little place for a girls weekend

It was in a great neighborhood and the host was great to work with. The beds were not the most comfortable but it was just fine for our weekend stay. We loved the front screened in porch for eating breakfast in the morning. Overall a great place to stay.

Starshine was perfect for my husband and I. Close enough to the lake and the strip to walk but far enough away from all of the action to have a peaceful and private stay. The cottage was very clean and the kitchen was well equipped.

The place was perfect!!! Very clean and close to everything. We walked to shop and eat. We did have other friends that came up but stayed at their campground so we did have a golf cart pick us up. But we walked on Sat and it wasn’t a bad walk. I would recommend staying here. Great experience. One of the nicest places I’ve stayed at in Geneva.
