Lake Front 3br 2 bath cottage with hot tub and private dock with a shallow sandy bottom, ideal for swimming with children and minimal boat traffic! The cabin is situated on Pierce’s Bay which allows for most desirable sunset views on the lake. Enjoy walking out the back door to the paved Spirit trail for hiking or biking the 7 mile path around the lake. Walk to the Eagles Nest restaurant for live music and dinner. Kayak, paddleboard and paddleboat available.

Check-out instructions

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Please make sure any ac units are turned off
Put towels on upstairs bathroom floor and used sheets on the bed in the upstairs back bedroom
Wash plates / dishes and stack next to the sink.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
The wood burning fireplace inside of the cabin is not to be used under any circumstances. Quite hours are from 10:00pm to 8am per the Township rules.
Please make sure that all hair is tied back into a pony tail. Absolutely NO GLASS BOTTLES OR CUPS NEAR OR IN THE HOT TUB!
No running on the dock- it becomes slippery. Always use extreme caution. Stay within the property boundaries that are marked with wooden posts.

Race weekend

Perfect for 10 college students needing a place to stay while competing in Formula SAE at MIS. Would definitely stay again. Host was very communicative and made us feel right at home.

A lovely weekend

We had a great time at tbe cabin for the weekend. Andy stayed in tku h tbe whole time and gave us restaurant recommendations. Cabin was clean, peaceful and private. Everything we needed was provided and i loved all the photos of the family and the area throughout the years.

It was everything I expected and more. Andy was amazing with communication and the cottage was all set up and ready to go!! Not only is the cottage beautiful but the whole Lake is too and everyone here is very friendly!! We will be back next year for sure!!

Amazing Cottage

Really cozy place where owner has made the most of his space. Lots of thoughtful little touches that make you feel at home. Place very well stocked. Owner is a great communicator and very hospitable. Beds super comfy, hot tub a 10+, sunsets amazing ☀️ water cooler was a great way to offset well water. Eagles nest restaurant a short walk away and very fun/great food. Neighborhood beautiful.

Great cabin on the lake!

I wanted a space to get away by myself for a few days, and was happy to stay at this cabin. The hosts have stocked the property with all the essentials and were great about sharing a guide to the area and instructions to use the hottub and keypad. The cabin feels very private and you get your quiet space, but there's people nearby to give a sense of security. As is the typical case with Mid-Michigan the towns are rural and small, but all the essentials you'd need, such as a CVS, Dollar General, Urgent Care, and other needs are minutes away in nearby Brooklyn. I enjoyed my stay and appreciate the kindness of the hosts!
