Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Bag all trash and bring it down to the beach where the can is. Remove all food from the fridge. Do not leave any dirty dishes in the sink or on the counter. Lock all doors before leaving.
Leave any dirty or wet towels in the inside shower. Make sure the fire pit is fully extinguished if used. Return all lounge cushions to the bin on the beach. Turn off all lights and
Turn all air conditioning units off except the main floor air conditioner, set it to 72°F. Strip the used beds only and place sheets in the bin in the downstairs bedroom.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

We knew that being on an island accessible only by boat would either be the best choice we could make or disastrous... And it was AMAZING! The island is so close to the marinas yet its own majestic, rustic beauty. Even on sweltering days we benefited from cross-island breeze. My family and I had the time of our life; even the dogs were living their best life snuffling about and we didn't have to worry about bears or raccoons. The house was simple but stunning and comfortable, and the hosts were super courteous, helpful and responsive to everything we could need. 10/10 highly recommend.
