This is a suite with 2 double beds (one of which is in a separate room), a sitting area, a kitchenette and a dining area that is part of a 4-unit “court style drive-up motel from days gone by”. The resort includes several other cabins along with this 4-unit motel. The property is 2 full acres and features lots of green space as well as 200 feet of waterfront on Ruth Lake.

Along with your private suite with a kitchenette and full bath, there is shared outdoor space: the lakefront is available for your use with 200 feet to enjoy. There is a patio by the water; bring your favorite lawn chair from home to relax by the shore. We do have a sandy beach, and it is a beautiful swimming lake. Launch a small boat from our private boat launch for fishing or use the larger public launch for larger boats. Additional connecting Lakes by kayak are Lake George, Beaufort, and Petticoat.

Great place to stay at. We had no TV. We were told it was cloudy out and there is no tv when that happens. Isn’t that 90% of the year in the upper peninsula.

Beautiful little spot

we stopped here on our way up from the lower peninsula to porcupine Mountain State Park. Nice little restful spot to chill out on the beach and enjoy the lake and sauna. We loved that there were paddle boards and kayaks available for us to use. Awesome sunset spot.A fire pit available, but we did not use it. but really not too loud or disturbing. Easy check-in. Easy check out. Had what we needed. The cabin that we chose was listed as two rooms with two beds, which technically is accurate, but be aware that one of the beds is located in the main living area with the couch, TV and kitchenette, while the other bed is located in an actual separate bedroom. it wasn’t a problem, just be aware.
