Lovely location, great cabin room, and amenities. Would prefer to keep this place secret, but strongly recommend.

Cozy little cabin; very clean and comfortable bed. Great room darkening curtains! We were basically there just to sleep and take showers, since we were visiting family at the state park nearby. Would have loved to have used the new sauna and the kayaks/paddle board available, but maybe next time! The big negative for us was the noisy highway very close to the cabin—if that wasn’t in the equation, we would have given 5 stars!

We were re-creating our original trip to Michigan's upper peninsula from 50 years ago when we rented a smalĺ rental cabin after our wedding. The cabin was clean and cozy as presented and reasonably within driving distance to water falls, state parks, and the Keweenaw peninsula. Loved the property with frontage on Ruth Lake.

We enjoyed our time at Ruth Lake. The unit was smaller than expected, but comfortable. Shower floor was soft, minimal water pressure. Outside kitchen seating area was nice. Room was clean but the grounds and garage areas need a lot of work.

Great and Comfortable Stay

The cabin was nice and clean, the property is easily accessible, clean, and right on the water. We brought our dog, did check beforehand to insure there would be no problem, and he loved the beach. They also have many other amenities (board games, grills, sauna, washer/dryer, etc.) that we did not take advantage of (This was in fact a workcation so there was not a lot of time) but it was great. The internet is slow, but enough to work off of, and it is reasonably close to Ishpeming and other locations with access to food and drinks. There is only an electric pan (at least in the cabin) to cook with but keeping that in mind it was a very cute and nice stay.
