Large upstairs with kitchen family room Master bedroom with a private office
Fairly large deck with nice barbacue
3 good size bedrooms downstairs with a middle family room also
Will stay there again
This property was an absolute joy to stay at! It was comfortable, quiet and perfectly located to visit all that Tahoe offers. The decorating and appliance are all high quality and in excellent condition. There was a bedroom on the main floor for grandma and 3 perfect bedrooms downstairs for the rest of the family. Morning coffee on the deck was as enjoyable as the end-of-day glass of wine. We planned all our Tahoe adventures to make sure we had enough time to enjoy the house at the end of each day.
We stayed in this home for a full week with 10 family members, and it was one of the best vacation rentals we’ve ever experienced. The house was spotlessly clean—and I’m very picky. I usually travel with cleaning supplies and check beds and bathrooms, and I had zero concerns here. Everything was immaculate. The space was much larger than expected, with extra rooms and a second living room downstairs, giving everyone plenty of room. The home has a warm cabin feel with beautiful wood throughout, a stunning high peaked ceiling, and an open main living area with a gorgeous fireplace. The dining table comfortably seated all 10 of us, with additional bar seating in the kitchen. The kitchen was exceptionally well stocked—far beyond most rentals—with every cooking tool we needed, plus dishwasher soap and laundry detergent. We barely used what we brought. The master bedroom is huge, with its own fireplace, an oversized shower, and a large soaking tub. Internet was very fast even with everyone streaming and working, and there’s a quiet private office with monitors, perfect for remote work. The home is very dog-friendly yet impressively clean, with hardwood floors throughout (carpet only in bedrooms), baby gates, and a large pantry. We arrived to snow on the deck and a giant snowman left by previous guests—a fun welcome. This home is beautiful, comfortable, thoughtfully stocked, and perfect for large families. We would absolutely stay here again.
Pros: newer property, open floorplan that was ideal for our family, quiet neighborhood, ample amenities to cook, cleanliness. Communication was good, but not prompt.
Cons: most all closets were locked, which didn't allow us to really hang clothes up. weird check in process where TV was left on when checking in. having snow gear like sleds available to borrow would've been nice. Many of us had bad allergies during the entire stay. A better method of cleaning allergens from dogs/pets or having a filtration system would help with this. TV in the living room was not proportionate to the size of the room and sofas. It made it very difficult to watch anything on the TV if sitting on the far end of the sofa.
Solid 4-Star property that we would consider staying at again in the future.
