Peaceful and tranquil Lake Tahoe mountain home. Book soon to get your preferred winter 2024 dates!We just finished a custom remodel of the kitchen and living room areas. New flooring and paint throughout. This perfect big family friendly/dog-friendly home is located in the quiet neighborhood of Carnelian Bay on the North Shore in the midst of all of the vacation activity spots on the North Shore. Our spacious four bedroom home with two living areas sits on a beautifully landscaped, sunny, fully fenced 1/3 acre lot just a couple of blocks from the dog-friendly Patton Beach at Waterman's Landing. Relax in the huge HOT TUB under the stars on the patio. Warm up after a full day of sightseeing, hiking, or skiing in front of a cozy fire in the big stone fireplace in the family room. Centrally located on the North Shore between Tahoe City and King's Beach. It is only 20 minutes to Squaw and Alpine and 15 minutes to Northstar.

Your family cooks will enjoy using the well stocked kitchen with stainless steel appliances and marble counter tops. The dining room set seats up to 10. and there is plenty of room for your group to spread out in this big one story house with a Living Room AND a Family Room. Each living room has a flat screen TV and plenty of comfy seating.

There is a 1-2 car garage and driveway room for up to 2 more cars.

Just a short 10-20 minute drive to the major North Shore ski hills such as Squaw and Northstar. We are centrally located in North Lake and very close to the Lake itself. It is just a short walk to the dog-friendly town beach (Waterman's Landing), and also to the Sierra Marina and Gar Woods restaurant. Attend the Concours d'Elegance Wooden Boat Show in Summer. There are mountain biking and hiking trails right up the street.

The North Shore Casinos are about a 20 minute drive, and you can walk to Gar Wood's Restaurant, miniature golf,or out for pizza. Old Brockway Golf Course is a three minute drive.

Great stay, beautiful property, close to all the ski resorts! I would definitely recommend staying here. Smallest nit would be more detailed instructions for getting into the bear proof box for putting away trash at the end, which we had a little trouble finding the key for given all the snow that had accumulated.

Amazing Stay

We had an amazing stay! The house is just as pictured, more than enough room for everyone, the backyard is huge and it was great to be able to have our dog have all that space to run around in the snow and know she was safe! Our son and his friend loved hanging out back in the hot tub while it was snowing. The neighborhood and surrounding area was beautiful! Great Family Vacay!

House was very nice inside, better than the pictures show. The natural light and two separate spaces were a huge plus for our multigenerational family trip. We had a smal hiccup with the heating system when we first arrived but Maddy called to check in and helped us get it fired up, and it was lovely from then on. It was great to have such a communicative host! We would definitely stay again!

This house fit our needs perfectly. We used it for a family gathering to celebrate my birthday as well as a Christmas present for our kids. The house is laid out nicely and was great for meals together, games, and still room to move around. The hot tub was nice after a day on the slopes and the kitchen is indeed very well stocked. I highly recommend this lovely home.

Amazing house

This house is in a wonderful neighborhood, close to the beach and grocery store. There were six of us who stayed here (including our two dogs) and there was plenty of room. The fireplace kept us warm and the open concept of the kitchen and living room was nice. Mady was a wonderful host and responded to messages quickly. Thanks for letting us stay in your amazing house. We will definitely love stay here again.

We loved the property! Clean home with lots of upgrades to inside of home. Lovely fenced yard, perfect for us and our dog! No problems while on property. Wonderful week in the woods!

Thank you Miller family for sharing your home with us for our annual family week at the lake. The home is laid out perfect for a family of 6 (2 parents and 4 teens). Everyone had their own space and the backyard was amazing. Our puppy had a great time running and exploring the fenced yard. The location in Tahoe can not be beat (10 min walk to everything!) We will be back!

Gray stay at Kings Beach

The property overall is great 👍 has four bedrooms, three with big beds and one with two bunks and a twin. Spacious dinning table, two living rooms. Location is great, close to Tahoe and other places, as well as grocery stores. Overall the house is a great stay, but does have a bit outdated furniture. The hot tub was nice but had extreme amount of chlorine in it. The fire place was also very nice, but wood was not provided so you have to bring your own. We enjoyed our stay :)

Hi Inna, Thanks for your review and I’m glad that you enjoyed your stay! We have provided guests with firewood in the past but it was difficult to keep dry and accessible since we had to store it away from the house. There are many stores here where it’s easy to buy wood if you need it. We do have our hot tub regularly serviced and chlorine levels are checked before each guests stay.

Lovely Tahoe property!

The property was exactly as advertised and truly lovely! The fenced in yard was great for the dogs and the hot tub was great for relaxing! This is one of the best stocked kitchens I've ever seen in a short term rental property, so well stocked and easy to cook in with quality appliances. The house layout is also great with the two living rooms for people to split up or hang out away from the bedrooms if some people go to bed early. The garage access with remote opener also came in handy for escaping the cold when loading and unloading the car. Would recommend!

Perfect Dog-Friendly Lake Tahoe house!

My family of 5 with three adult daughters and their 2 dogs just returned from our vacation. The property was wonderful! A big fully fenced back yard for the dogs, in a quiet neighborhood close to everything. Beautifully decorated, comfortable and clean. We really couldn’t have asked for more. Fantastic woodlands home!

Overall this home was outstanding! Loads of space inside and out for our family reunion of ten people. The backyard was where we spent most of our time. Hot tub, hammock, badminton, corn hole, large table and chairs with umbrellas. Just perfect! The kitchen is really well stocked. I’ve never been to a property that was so easy to cook in. The management was super quick to respond to our questions/concerns. I felt like they were motivated to make our stay great. My only, and I do mean only hesitation in giving that fifth star was the many maintenance issues we experienced. These seemed to be due to the cleaning crew ; and the management was not even aware of the issues until we brought them up. As mentioned before, the management was quick to respond and help resolve the problems. We would definitely love to stay again. My family did not want to leave!! So close to the lake and mini golf and restaurants too!! Yet peaceful and quiet. A great home to rent!

In the Trees

This is a beautiful home with a large backyard, lovely kitchen, and multiple skylights that keep it bright inside. Layout is great allowing for some to stay up late while others go to bed early. There were a number of small maintenance issues (e.g.,a toilet seat on the floor, dirty hot tub and bbq, jammed laundry) that were a bit annoying but did not ruin our stay. We would definitely return.

Can’t wait to go back!

For a couple families with toddlers, this was such a great choice for us. The house is fully stocked, I didn’t even need to bring any toys, games or sleds! I loved having two living spaces particularly in the evening when the adults wanted to play games and shut ourselves in a room to keep noise down to babies asleep. The backyard is great and walking distance to the lake. Would love to stay again!

Just off the lake in the woods

The house is well-maintained and just off the main drag by the lake. It's minutes from many restaurants including Garwoods and Open Range Steakhouse, CB's Bistro and more. 4 bedrooms and 3 baths. Very quiet at night. Well-equipped.

Family vacation

This was a great property for a family of 6 adults and a dog. We love the area and the house! Big backyard and hot tub provided lots of fun. Large dining table was where we spent a lot of time playing games and breaking bread!

We often have our guests tell us that staying in one of our two homes is more like enjoying a friend's Tahoe Cabin than a rental house. I make it our policy to have a beautifully clean, nicely decorated Tahoe Style home for your mountain vacation, winter or summer.

Why they chose this property

The Agate Bay neighborhood in Carnelian Bay is a peaceful, quiet area, and our lot is 1/3 acre. The large space between the homes gives our house a lot of privacy,made even more private by our fully fenced back yard. This house feels very spacious, with a living room and a separate family room in a different wing. It makes it very private for a big group.


What makes this property unique

This property is SO peaceful with it's huge fenced in back yard, rock gardens and green lawns. The back patio is a perfect spot for summer barbeques. There are sunny and shady areas to choose from in the back yard. The neighborhood is a quiet residential area with all large lots for privacy. You can walk to the beach, Gar Woods, and several other restaurants. Bring your well behaved dog for a $20 per/nt. pet fee.
