Welcome to Hawks Haven! We hope you’ll enjoy your stay at this charming home in the heart of the village of Hawks. At least 8 people can comfortably stay in the two queen beds and two double beds located in the 3 bedrooms. All the comforts of home are provided for you.

Here, you are minutes away from numerous inland lakes and the beautiful shores of Lake Huron. Weather it’s fishing, boating, or beachfront relaxation, these lakes have you covered. Also, the North Eastern State Trail is practically in the back yard, ready for bikers and snowmobilers alike. If you’re up for a drive, Mackinac Island is about an hour away! So too are numerous Petoskey wineries and beautiful ski slopes.

After a full day of warm or wintery fun, come back to the house to relax in the comfy living room, cook a delicious meal on the grill or the full kitchen, catch up on emails in the little office nook, or sit around the fire pit to roast s’mores and watch the stars with your friends or family.

Very nice property. Well maintained on the outside and clean inside. Stocked with firewood which was awesome. The pub up the road had good pizza, but that is the only place to get food if you don't bring groceries- fyi.

Older home that’s been refurbished and updated. Excellent additional amenities to ease our travel. Fresh cookies to greet us. 4 comfortable beds to rest our 8 heads. Home truly has 2 bathrooms, just one shower, but made it workable.

My sisters and I rented Hawks Haven for a getaway for three nights. What a great place! The house is spacious, clean, and the host has thought of everything that one might need. The kitchen is so well-stocked, and we greatly appreciated the box of cookies that were waiting for us upon arrival. We would not hesitate to rent from Vinny again. Highly, highly recommend!

Great Place to Stay Up North!

My family loved our time at Hawks Haven. Vinny was incredibly responsive to all our questions and went out of his way to accommodate a special request for us. The property was close to all the places we wanted to visit while we were Up North. We loved the labels on all the kitchen cabinets so we could find what we were looking for easily! We will definitely recommend this property to our friends and family, and we hope to stay here again!

Very well stocked kitchen with cooking items and plates, silverware, cups and glasses, laundry supplies, and GAME CLOSET. We had a ball Sunday evening playing games with the grandkids! Very clean and comfortable. There is no A/C, but there are fans, both ceiling and floor.We didn't do much outside while at the home (we were in the area for a family reunion) but there were toys and such available to use to keep everyone occupied, there is a grill, and a fire pit to sit around and relax. For the curious minded, history buffs there is a cemetery right next door. Some might think this as being creepy, but we thought of it as a new adventure. It is very important to remember to be respectful while perusing the cemetery though. It was interesting viewing the grave markers and thinking about the time period they lived.
