On a farm nestled among vineyards and hills, an apartment for couples in a prime location

This apartment is ideal for those who love peace and quiet, green spaces, and nature, yet also appreciate the convenience of being just a few minutes from the city and the highway. <br>The farmhouse is located within the municipality of Vicenza, nestled in a small rural valley at the foot of the Berici Hills. You’ll be just a stone’s throw from the city yet immersed in nature and the tranquility of the vineyards. <br>At the end of the valley, slightly elevated and nestled among the vineyards—after travelling a short stretch of unpaved road—stands a large, traditional farmhouse that was recently (2022) extensively renovated. <br>The two owners live in the right wing. In the farmhouse on the left side, a separate, tastefully renovated apartment has been created for guests—designed for those who, like us, love living in nature. On the ground floor are the bathroom, an entryway, and the kitchen-living room; on the ground floor is the bedroom.<br>Some parts of the farmhouse (the former stable and pigsty) and the garden will be renovated in the coming years.<br>We are a couple who decided to leave our city home for a new adventure: so in 2022, we began renovating this large, old country farmhouse nestled among the vineyards, located in Vicenza at the foot of the Berici Hills<br>The farmhouse is in the city of Vicenza, about 8 km from the historic centre: follow a small country road that will lead you into a small rural valley, hidden at the foot of the Berici Hills. You’ll be surrounded by vineyards, countryside, and the woods of the Berici Hills, in the quiet among the vineyards and woods. With a little luck, in the evening you might spot a hare or a roe deer in the darkness <br>Yet at the same time, you’re just a 15-minute drive from Vicenza’s historic centre and Palladio’s architectural masterpieces, and less than 4 km from the Vicenza Est highway exit. <br>The Vicenza Fair (15 min), the cities of Padua (40 min), Bassano (40 min), Verona (50 min), and Venice (0 min)—as well as the Alps, the Asiago Plateau, and Lake Garda—are all within easy reach from this excellent base. You can also explore the Berici Hills—on foot, by car, or by bike—along routes far from mass tourism, still waiting to be discovered, amid rolling hills, trails, and local food and wine.
