Your family can enjoy the all sports sandy bottom lake and white sandy beach that stretches for miles, perfect for long walks. The master bedroom has a king size bed and attached full bath. The second bedroom has a queen size bed and attached full bath. The third bedroom has a queen bed. The fourth has a double bed. The fifth bedroom has 3 bunkbeds. A third full bath is by the kitchen. Full kitchen, dishwasher, stove, microwave refrigerator with ice maker. Washer and Dryer. Wireless internet. 60" HD TV, with Dish. DVD player. And more.

My now husband and I rented this beautiful home to stay in while we prepped and got married! We live Lake City and this was a nice place to spend our time. The upstairs rooms do not have air but the owner has fans for use which is very thoughtful. There is plenty of space here, plenty of bathrooms and beds. We stayed in the upstairs “captain’s quarters”. What a nice overlook of the lake and also love the loft style as you can overlook down to the living room. They have an indoor and outdoor sound system but we did not use. We came in September, so not very crowded in the area. Nice little beach area that goes into sandy water. The deck was nice and spacious and had a lot of seating. Really just nice place to stay! Also just love all the little boat stuff, very neat. Hope to come back

The stay was wonderful but there were issues with the property. The host needs to disclose there is no air conditioning on the upper level, the gas grill is a fire hazard, there was an insufficient number of towels. The kitchen did not have any spices My family has rented many cottages and this one lacked being cared for. For the amount of money paid, the quality was not there.

I have several renters, who have rented for 15 years or more. All have been thrilled with the accommodations. Robin called to complain about batteries not working and the grill not being cleaned.

Thank you for a wonderful stay Enjoyed sitting on the deck by the water. Our grandchildren visited and had fun swimming . A great beach. Plenty of room on the deck to eat as a group. Having the air conditioner was great as the temperatures were in the 80's, though it gets very hot upstairs even with the fans.

Fabulous! Right on the water. Great accommodations! 5 bedrooms, 3 baths

Enjoyed this rental. Close to the beach, we could sit on the deck and watch the kids play(50 Ft) Fire pit, sandy beach, no drop off, loved it. We could walk to downtown. Great for a family reunion.

Very nice cottage and vacation.

The cottage was very well maintained, was very clean, and included everything you would need. We only encountered two issues: 1 - There was no dock to tie up a boat to. We had to beach our pontoon boat which took up beach/water space that the kids used for swimming. There was still enough room; however, we were unable to put our speed boat in the water due to this. 2 - One of the bedrooms is really a loft that is open to the downstairs. Because of this we could not put any children in there and it was not a very quite for sleeping. Otherwise, the lake was great - good swimming, good fishing and good times. Really enjoyed the sand bar on the other side of the lake. Would definitely recommend.

Thank you for your 5 star rating. Apparently you didn't notice the 200 feet of open beach 15 feet from our lot line. Great swimming area.

Family Reunion

We were in Lake City for a family reunion. My 5 siblings and I along with our families get together each year in Lake City. We rented the Chalet and another cottage a couple doors down. The Chalet was fantastic. Very roomy. All 20 of us ate most of our meals on the huge deck. Kitchen was the best we ever had for doing the cooking. Lake Missaukee is a great swimming and boating lake. i would recommend to anyone for a family gathering. Bev G.

great vacation spot

This cottage looks good inside and out. It is very spacious and has plenty of extra chairs for visitors inside and outside on the huge deck. We had 3 grandchildren staying with us and 4 more visit a few days and it's perfect being so close to the beautiful sandy beach. We ran the A/C at about 75 deg when it reached 90; this along with several bedroom fans that were provided made it comfortable for sleeping.

ANNUAL FAMILY VACATION

THE LAKE AND BEACH ARE BEAUTIFUL AT THIS LOCATION. HAD A GREAT TIME FISHING IN THE LAKE AS WELL. THE HOUSE DOES NOT HAVE AC IN THE 3 UPPER BEDROOMS AND WE FOUND THIS MISLEADING, THEY WERE TOO HOT TO SLEEP IN MOST NIGHTS THE WEEK WE STAYED. THE HOUSE SLEEPS MORE THAN IT HAS CHAIRS FOR AT THE DINING ROOM TABLE.

We do have a beautiful lake and large deck that has 10 deck chairs with a 5' by 4' table. We have a dining table in the cottage that seats 8 and a breakfast bar that seats 3. We can't control the weather. It happened to be a heat wave the week they were there. The temperatures hit the 90's.
