Newly completed renovation, this home awaits your arrival. With only 150 steps to the Gulf's azure sea and newly replenished sandy beach, you will reset and restore your soul. Your vacation will be all about relaxation and being grateful for the day.

This beautiful island home features a resort style floor plan. It has a main building with king master bedroom, en suite (double sink) bath, a loft style bedroom, a second bath (with shower), fully equipped kitchen, dining area and living room. Across the lanai (pool area), you will find another buliding with a queen master bedroom efficiency with & en suite bath.

Although the lovely beaches and nearby attractions are a very strong draw, you may decide to spend your time thoroughly enjoying the comfort of this inviting home. Its' high ceilings & feeling of spaciousness, the refreshing crystal clear heated pool and just about every creature comfort will put you at ease and possibly convince you to remain at the house for the day and consider the next day 'a beach day.'

Why Manasota Key? Being from Rhode Island, the Ocean State, my family and I have come to develop the need to be near the water. We had heard about Englewood through a friend and decided to look into this place that was described as being 'Old Florida.' The thought of finding an ideal place to vacation and eventually reside was enticing. After just one visit, we knew this island was what we'd been looking for for years. The beautiful, unspoiled surroundings and very friendly locals all played a part in our decision to become Gulf residents.

It didn't take long before we found this beautiful house close to the Gulf waters in March of 2011. This home has a feeling to it that needs to be experienced to understand. If a house could have a heart and soul, you would want this house to be your best friend. I hope you find the time to come to the beach and relax.

Absolutely perfect location, tucked away but steps from beach, and minutes from shopping and eating. This home had everything needed for a great family vacation. Nancy was an amazing host! I would highly recommend booking.

Wow! Great stay

This is a perfect vacation home. Quaint but enough space for our party of 6. The secluded private pool was the best place to hang out during VERY windy beach days. Our nightly walk to view the sunset took 2 minutes and the neighbors were lovely. Nancy is an amazing host. I can't say enough good things about our stay. The kitchen is really well equipped. There are 3 beach chairs, plenty of towels, comfy beds, good appliances, Keurig and regular coffee maker and a WORKING ice maker. Just a really great recently remodeled home.

A Little Slice of Paradise

Our family absolutely loved this gem of a house in Manasota Key. Perfect location just steps from a rather secluded beach. Loved having a pool we didn't have to share with other guests like when staying in a condo/hotel. Kitchen was fully stocked with anything you could possibly need. And several bikes that we utilized on the bike path. Amazing week and the owner was very responsive to any questions we had.

Perfect oasis

Nancy was an amazing host, extremely quick to respond to any questions and very kind and hospitable! The home is great for a family vacation with the option to be in separate quarters. They have so many items in the garage such as bikes, floaties, and beach toys. This is the first rental we've stayed in that truly had a stocked kitchen! All the spices and essentials you need! We spent most of our time in the pool and by the time we left it felt like home. Looking forward to staying again :)

Had a great time hanging out with cousins one of which we didn’t know about her, found her on ancestry ❣️She is awesome, and just like the rest of us❣️Also had a dinner with a few friends from school in Venice where we all grew up‼️The rental was the perfect place and got a lot of compliments on the house. Cool house, perfect location

This house was perfect for our family of 5: Big enough but still cozy, comfortable beds/accommodations, and it has an ideal pool area that is completely isolated from neighbors with abundant sun exposure for much of the day. Very clean, well-maintained. The kitchen has everything you need for your stay. There is a main house with an en suite queen bedroom and loft office with two twin beds, and then a one-bedroom guest house/king suite across the pool area. We were a little skeptical of the dual-house layout at first, but it turned out to be just fine, and actually adds to the charm of the property. Great location: a few minutes in the car to restaurants, and a few minutes’ walk to the beach, which is fairly quiet in this particular part of Manasota Key. Nancy was available to answer any questions we had before and during our stay. (Great host!) We would absolutely stay here again.

The property was good although it was not cleaned properly. Beds were not made , rugs not cleaned. Top room not dusted and trash not taken out. There is need for a full length mirror. Description of propert6 not accurate. Beach is not available to access and should have been described better .

We recently stayed at this beautiful beach house, and I can't recommend it enough! The location was perfect, just a two-minute walk to the beach, which made it incredibly convenient for sunbathing and swimming. The amenities were top-notch, including a lovely swimming pool that provided a refreshing escape. The two bedrooms were very private, allowing for a comfortable and relaxing stay. Overall, everything was nice, and I would definitely return!

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at this home. The home was clean and inviting. The pool was absolutely perfect and the close proximity to the beach was outstanding. If we needed Nancy, she was just a text away. We would 100% stay in this home again.

This is our second time staying at this house. Great location, just steps from the beach. Very clean, and kitchen had everything you need for cooking. Kids loved the pool, and we made use of the huge DVD selection. So glad to see this property relatively unscathed from the hurricane.
