The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of room, however, the pictures are deceptive. The property felt run down and uncared for. The upholstery was stained and the outdoor living area is misrepresented. The porch is glass, so very hot and the front area furniture is in disrepair. Was disappointed with the condition of the house and the highway noise. Other complaint I would have is that there are limited numbers of outlets. Could not plug in my phone by my bed and there was only one outlet in the double sink bathrooms, so couldn’t use appliances as both sinks. Again, if you want comfortable beds and plenty of toilets and don’t care about the “feel” of the house, this place is fine, but overall I was disappointed.

Our stay was lovely. The home was very spacious. We had 4 couples staying and everyone had their own space, with plenty of room to gather in the kitchen, living room, and outdoor spaces.

The house was clean, roomy and well stocked. Host was responsive and we really enjoyed our stay at Kirmar Cove. House is situated in a nice residential neighborhood and very close to freeway and all the attractions. Will stay again.

The house was nice and spacious for the whole family. The upstairs does get warm and downstairs is colder. If you need to open the windows you do hear the freeway but the host was transparent with this information.

Amazing, Spacious Oceanside Home

We had 7 people of varying ages and this home had plenty of space for everyone. The home was well stocked with kitchen utensils and toiletries in the bathrooms. It is conveniently located and a quick drive to the beach. There is some noise from the 5 mostly in the master because there is a balcony, but it can be drowned out at night with a white noise machine. I highly recommend booking this home for your group on your next Oceanside getaway!

Very under stocked kitchen. Min towels, some with a holes and dirty. Not enough for everyone. It says it sleeps 10 but there is no way to cook for 10 ppl. I had to cook for 3 ppl at a time due to the size or lack of mixing/serving bowls and tiny frying pans. No cookie sheets, cake pans, skillets, pitcher, mixer and only 5 kitchen towels, 1 wash cloth. No serving utinsels and minimum kitchen utinsels, no spatulas for flipping nor rubber scrappers, no colundar/strainer. Random silverware and half were thin for camping. I had to improvise straining spaghetti for 10 ppl. We weren't able to be together at the same time. Dinner took up our entire evenings. I cooked 3 duplicate meals for each meal, everyday, what a mess. All I did was cook and clean. I was exhausted and the kitchen was trashed due to the mess I was unnecessarily creating. Then I cleaned for another hour. I went to bed so frustrated, knowing I had to do it all over again the next day. That kitchen killed the trip for me. Kids books were torn apart, none of the games had all of the pieces, maybe half. The living room furniture was hodge podge and not clean. The barstools are bad! The kitchen itself and the bathrooms are all new. It was one of the last available, and 1k more than the better ones I missed out on.

Slow-to-respond host with sewage backup issue

House is plenty big. Our group of 3 generations fit comfortably. Be aware that house backs right up to I-5 freeway ramp and freeway sounds are very noticeable. House was not spotless at check-in but fine. Unfortunately, we had a sewage backup happen our first morning and it was difficult to get the host to respond. Only after I got VRBO involved, did they contact me. The issue was finally resolved that afternoon but very disappointed in their response time and subsequent refusal to adequately compensate us for the full-day outage.
