 Our custom build Ocean View home is located on the beautiful Puna coastline and the historic “Red Road”, which is one of the most scenic roads in the entire state Hawaii. This home has 2 Master bedrooms and 2 baths and sits on a private dead end street and a  short walking distance to Kehena Black Sand Beach, home to spinner dolphins and Humpback whales in the winter mos.


 Relax on your covered decks for that perfect morning sunrise and cooling trade winds. Enjoy  your favorite drink and soak in the Ocean views and morning Sunrises! Minutes away from  Pahoa town, Kalapana, Uncle Robert's nighttime market, McKensie State park, Kaimu beach, many pocket beaches and Cliff for fishing, Pohoiki Black Sand Beach and more.



As you enter the home, the first floor has an open living space floor plan with amazing ocean views, living, dining and full kitchen. Our French doors  leads you to the open air covered Ocean view lanai. Conveniently located on the first floor is one of the two Master bedrooms and separate bathroom. Up the gorgeous wooden staircase is the very large and dramatic Ocean view 2nd Master bedroom with its own en suite bath and has its own private 2nd story open air covered ocean view lanai.



The  full kitchen provides lots of room and counter space to prepare your favorite island meals. Included with this home is a propane BBQ grill and for evening have fun playing Ping Pong room located in the first floor that is covered with garden views. The garage offers the washer and dryer and beach gear. Cool down and rinse off the sand from newly built lava stone outdoor shower with dramatic ocean views

Why they chose this property

We love the Puna area for it's remote beauty, green forest, rugged coast and deep pacific blue waters. We love the east side of the Big Island as we experience no Vog due to our constant Easterly trade-winds and we experience less rainfall than Hilo. Our area is also known for it's Sunny days and Rainy nights one of the reasons why it is so green and lush. It is one of the most beautiful areas in the Hawaiian Island chain. This place holds so much History of the Hawaiian People and is sacred. This is Pele's Home! This area feels like old Hawaii, full of Beauty ,Tradition, friendly people and the Aloha Spirit truly Lives here!

What makes this property unique

We started to manage Black Sand Beach House in March of 2023 for our good friend and neighbor for over 10 yrs. This Beautiful Custom built home is truly magical and sits right on the off the Red Road with amazing oceanfront views. The owner also owns the lot next door to and has no direct neighbors on either side. It also sits on a dead end street and only one other Vacation Rental on that street too! It is the perfect landing place to explore the Puna Coast and it's many wonders.
