Beautiful, comfortable lake home with stunning sunsets. Wonderfully stocked kitchen with everything we needed. Excellent check in and out directions. Host was quick to respond to our questions and gave great local recommendations.
Overall we were happy with the rental. Do you know the chair in the living room is broke? Kinda iffy to sit in. Also we would have appreciated some washcloths and Kleenex. The red plastic chair on the deck between the house and garage is also broke. Thank you and we would rent the house again!
The house was clean and had everything we needed. Beautiful lake view, ample beds and blankets, bathroom towels, and the kitchen had all the cookware we needed.
The house was beautiful and absolutely perfect! We loved the house and it worked out perfect for our stay. The kitchen was well stocked and the bathrooms were lovely. The view of the lake was amazing.
We stayed in this home with a handful of friends while visiting town for a snowmobile race and everything went well. Neat private location just off the beaten path, home was clean and well cared for!
Amazing stove and oven (even if we didn’t use it that much). Great location for us. Nice to have a garage. Very straightforward last day instructions. Lots of space.
It was close to the twin cities and yet felt like you were far away. The house fit our needs great! 3 generations had plenty of things to do and able to be separate if wanted. Only downside was the stove and oven didn’t work.
Beautiful cabin with a great yard, gorgeous lake view, and large open spaces for family to be together. Tons of amenities and activities to use while there too! The host was great as well.
Home is as described on site. Very spacious and comfortable. Host is responsive. Weather cooperates so we were able to go to sunflower field and mini golfing nearby. Very weedy and mucky bottom near dock but lake is shallow and if you go out 20 feet straight out from sock less weeds and good for swimming and floating. Full kitchen with everything we needed, comfy beda and plenty of linens, towels and extra blankets. Very nice accomodations, highly recommend.
The home was beautiful and very clean. Great views of the lake. We stayed for family Christmas and there was plenty of room for everyone, we had 8 adults a teenager and 3 kids 6 and under. Property owner was great to work with and easy to communicate with. Highly recommend.
We had a great weekend. Even though the weather didn't cooperate, we got out on the pontoon as much as we could. But the house was very well stocked with games and fun things to do. Thank you!
We had an absolute blast at our annual mom’s weekend. We loved the property the minute we walked in and were able to do all of our favorite things: cook, do puzzles (thanks for providing!), have a fire and watch movies on the couch.
We will be returning next year!
My family and I had an amazing weekend. There was plenty of space for 5 adults and 2 kids. Very clean and organized. My kids loved all the kids toys and inflatable water tubes/paddle boards already there which made packing that much easier. We also loved that we could dock our own boat right on the lake so we could take it out anytime we wanted. The water closer to shore was weedy and a bit mucky but got better further out so we could float and swim out there. Host was very responsive and so sweet. If you’re looking for a cabin and lake getaway but don’t want to travel far past the twin cities I would recommend this rental.
The pictures were accurate. The house was great! The lake was weedy and green but we made the most of it and went out far enough to have less weeds. The grill was being a little cranky but we were able to get it going for each meal. Shea was very responsive when notified.
My friends and I just wrapped up our second year in a row staying here, and it really is such a wonderful house. The perfect getaway that’s peaceful and beautiful, but close enough to the Twin Cities for all of us to checkout for a few days. The space and layout are wonderful for a group of 5-6 (everyone had more than enough space!)The only negatives are that the house has a lot of things needing repair l…and there was a ladybug infestation in the house. None of us are squeamish, but there were literally hundreds of ladybugs clustered in the corners and flying around. It started to feel a little icky. Again, great house and I’d be totally open to staying here again, just hoping for some fixes here and there.
The views of the lake and layout of the upstairs were all we hoped for! Stairs to downstairs are steep and narrow—probably wouldn’t pass code in my home state but we managed fine. The beds were comfortable—including the bunk bed. Checkin was easy and the host manager was responsive.A also appreciated the host allowing us to come and leave a day later on short notice without a charge. Our only concern was the gas oven. It worked but the carbon monoxide alarm in the downstairs went off 2 hours later and we had to call the fire department and have the gas company come out. We learned this was not the first time the alarm went off. The stove was deemed defective and tagged. We were reimbursed for the impacted day but it was a hassle.
We had a family gathering and enjoyed our 4-day stay! The VRBO definition and pictures of this property are a good representation of how homey and comfortable the home is. There are different areas for reading, games, just hanging out or anything else you may want to do. There is not a place to swim, but we knew this ahead of time and brought a small pool for the kiddos. The adults took advantage of the paddle boards.
The host was responsive and answered our questions. There were some very nice touches and surprises left by the host for us to enjoy. Almost anything you could need was there. I would definitely recommend this property. It worked out that it was close to the Twin Cities area where we were all from. Those that couldn't stay the entire time had just a short distance to travel.
