About this property
The Loft on Lundy | Short North Arts District
Enjoy the historic character of the popular Short North Arts District from The Loft on Lundy: ✓ Private loft apartment above a garage (no shared walls) ✓ Reserved off-street parking for one vehicle - a premium in this area! ✓ Unique touches of vintage character (stained-glass windows!) ✓ Balcony with outdoor dining for two ✓ Prime location! Walk to the corner of Buttles and High in 3 minutes, or to the convention center in 10 minutes (0.5 miles).
The loft was built in the 1980s, but features "original" woodwork, doors, and custom windows salvaged from other homes in the area, which gives it a bit of that vintage Victorian vibe. The loft is above the owners' garage - they live in the main house facing Goodale Park. The garage is accessed from the alley (Lundy St.) behind the main house.
You'll park in a reserved space right next to the entry door. One flight of stairs leads up to the open kitchen / dining space. The kitchen counter has two bar stools and there's also a dining table for two, with two chairs. This table can be used as a desk or workspace.
The living area features a futon couch which can fold flat to accommodate an additional 1-2 guests. The door to the balcony is off of the living area. This is a small balcony and with just enough room for two people at an outdoor patio table.
The kitchen is well-equipped for cooking and has a drip coffee maker - coffee grounds will be provided. There is a washer and dryer in the hallway closet, which guests are welcome to use!
You'll have private access to the entire place.
We live nearby in the main house if you need anything, but we may not cross paths during your stay since you'll park right next to the door and go right inside!
The Short North Arts District is home to some of the best restaurants, shopping, art galleries, and night life in the city. Park your car and walk everywhere!
Victorian Village (a historic district in the Short North) features incredible turn-of-the-century architecture and is known for its annual Tour of Homes. Taking a walk around Goodale Park or along Neil Avenue is a popular activity.
Park your car and walk! Ride sharing apps and scooter rental apps are also very popular in this area. Please note: only ONE parking spot is included. If you need parking for multiple vehicles, please ask before booking.
One reserved outdoor parking space is included with the booking. Additional parking in this area requires a permit, but we may have other options available - please inquire if you need parking for more than one vehicle.
The TV does not have cable or access to any free live channels. It is a “smart” TV only. You will need to log into your own streaming accounts to play content on the TV.

Stay was wonderful! Rental property is very clean, charming, and well stocked. This is a great location. We will definitely check availability and would love to stay here again when in Columbus!
The place was great, close to food and drink, and 30 minutes walking to Ohio Stadium. Place was clean. Owners and hosts were great. The only small thing was no cable or local channels on tv, it was a smart tv, so being alone it made the nights a bit long.
