The beach house was perfect in every way, and a very short distance to the beach with a short walking trail over the Dunes. The place under the house has advantages of storing beach items securely with a fenced in perimeter. Good choice for those with dogs or little kids. The location felt safe, only 1 night we were awakened by fireworks at midnight out on the beach! The deck provides a spacious place to enjoy the view of the ocean and soak in the breeze. Well worth it.

The view of the beach was so nice! We really enjoyed our stay. The beach cabin was decorated wonderfully and had all of the essentials needed for your stay. We would definitely rent this lovely cabin again!

The Jewel of the Gulf was the best beach house rental, I have ever stayed at! The place is just stunning, so peaceful and in a great location. From the house to everything in it, excellent quality and completely stocked with anything you may need. To me, quick response and communication is key and they hit it out of the park with this one. They are so good with checking in and seeing how everything is going and instant response to the messages I sent. We did a girls trip an all of us are so pleased with our decision to book with them. We can't wait to go back! One last thing, if you love Mexican or sea food, Tia Juanita's is a must. SO DELICIOUS!

great pet friendly house

Lots of room for a big family with pets. Great beach view. Great beach breezes. Just a short walk to the beach. I could even watch the kids fishing on the beach in the early morning with their grandparents from the front porch.

Wonderful experience

The house is beautiful with a great view of the gulf of America. The beds were comfy and the ambiance was perfect!! I loved that the house sits on the end of the street with no car beach access so the road stays quiet. All the amenities were great! Plenty of room for our group of 8-9 people. The down stairs was perfect to park our trailers and side by sides as well as have room to enjoy the outside swings and ambiance. We plan to stay here again! Everyone loved it!! Quick walk to the beach, quick drive to the beach as well. The next road over has beach car access. The outdoor shower is nice as well! Heated and plenty of room! The Tankless water heater is a plus as well! Never ran out of hot water!! The house is just beautiful! Met all of our expectations!

We had the best time. Everything was perfect. Can't wait for the opportunity to book again. Views were beautiful. House was furnished with everything we could need. We enjoyed grilling at night and drinking coffee with ocean views in the morning. Was in town for bike rally in Galveston. Big grocery store nearby. Enjoyed riding golf cart on beach. Plenty parking for two trucks and trailers.

Great cabin, but must get guest approval…

The property was very clean and had an abundance of pillows! Lots of room, and plenty of outdoor furniture! We loved that! The only negatives is I had to put in all my visitor info and ages. That was frustrating as the property allows 12, and we weren’t sure if we were going to have visitors or not. Im sure they had their reasons, but I’ve never had to do that before. So, that’s a pass for me if I’ll stay with this property again. The property management company was very quick to respond, and was able to change the info for me, so I appreciate that! Very friendly staff and great communication! Also, the beach access is on a sand dune which you are not allowed to cross ….and there are no crossover streets, so that was upsetting for us as we do not like driving on the beach. Very clean property, stocked kitchen, very family friendly, and great location to the BIG STORE!

OCCUPANCY: thank you for understanding why we need your basic occupancy information. We take the possibility of an emergency very seriously. If the fire department shows up and we can’t tell them that there’s potentially XX amount of people in the house, we are not properly doing our job to ensure your safety. WE NEVER ask for the names of your guests or specific ages of every guest. BEACH ACCESS: there’s a foot path through the dunes just a few steps from the front door. It’s intended for foot use only. Motorized vehicles such as ATVs are strictly prohibited and there’s a sign for people who are not aware of this law. We hope to have you back soon. Make sure to inquire about our repeat guest reward when returning to any of our properties!
