It boasts lush landscaped grounds (including an ancient Heiau, a Hawaiian Temple site), ocean and mountain views, glorious sunrises, a secluded beach, and a large saltwater pool. Nearby activities include golf, surfing, kite surfing, kayaking/canoeing, shopping, dining and access to many miles of biking and walking paths. The resort is ideally located one-block from the Coconut Market shopping center and near lovely Kapaa town on Kauai’s East Coast. The unit is in need of updates and repairs but the location is great. And Nae Lani is a nice condominium— quiet and private but good accessibility to restaurants and shopping via walking.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again. Great location to get anywhere you want to go on the island. Beautiful ocean side scenery. We spent every morning out on the porch with our coffee. The only thing I can think of is maybe bar soap or any kind of soap for the shower.
Great location. It was really nice being on the ground floor with beach access right across the lawn. The east side of the island is also nice since you’re always halfway to wherever you’d want to go. The condo itself was good but is in need of a little update. We had some minor issues come up throughout our week stay like the toilet leaking, the screen door getting stuck, and it’s time for a deeper clean of the unit. Overall though we would stay here again.
Great central location. We were approximately 25-30 minutes to North and south shores. Condo was clean, kitchen had plenty of dishes and cookware. The view was amazing. I would stay at this location again
Perfect location, no issues at all with check in/out. Accomodations were excellent. Didn't notice that there was no air conditioning in the listing, but the sea breeze with the windows open was more than enough to keep us comfortable. Floors and windows could've been a little cleaner, but overall 8.5/10 stay.
Beautiful views. Close the the airport, shopping and the local Hawaiin pleople. The owner stayed in contact with us and it was great to work with him. All kinds of things to do and enjoy !!
It was very nice - good location in the complex - very clean - with the exception of the repair work in progress in the primary bathroom. Easy check in - had everything we needed.
Overall this is a good property and the owner was great at addressing some construction concerns that came up. The grounds are beautiful with a fabulous choice of beach, small rock enclosed area or pool to choose from. Kitchen was well stocked and the beach toys were appreciated. Location in south Kapa’a made getting to other parts of the island easy.
Our stay was amazing and exceeded our expectations, the property was beautiful and serene, the house was well kept and had everything we needed. a real gem!!!
Loved this condo in Lae Nani complex. Right on the water, with lovely pool area as well. The patio looked out over the lawn to the water. Owner was very responsive to minor issue. Two large bedrooms and separate baths made this the perfect arrangement for two couples. Unit has everything you need. Although it could use a little TLC and updating, it was very laid back and relaxed atmosphere. Great location walking distance to restaurants, grocery store and shopping. We will be back!
Stay was disappointing to be honest. The resort was undergoing maintenance on the parking area. I wish we were told in advance and given an opportunity to stay elsewhere. It was so loud with machinery for 4 solid days and the black soot and toxic smell over those days was ridiculous. With all the windows and blinds closed over those days there was still a black dust over everything, including our beds. We weren’t able to use the tennis court and parking on the street was inconvenient. Image below from wiping a tissue over the bed side table.
We needed a ground-floor 2-bedroom unit, and we would have been happy to find one anywhere at Lae Nani (where we have stayed several times and always been happy). We were thrilled to find this unit with a stunning view from the lanai. We were there mostly to relax, plus the weather was quite hot while we were there, so we spent a lot of time in the unit and on the lanai.
The owner was very easy to work with, both in setting up the reservation and while we were there. We had some complications with the reservation process, because we weren't sure exactly when we wanted to be there. He was very helpful in making sure we would get what we wanted, and he always responded quickly to my questions.
Kapa'a/Wailua is such a great location, close to the Lihu'e airport and midway between the North Shore and Poipu. If you're wanting to see the whole island, this is a great home base. But we were happy this time to stay local in this gorgeous setting.
Lae Nani as a whole is a beautiful resort well-suited for families, with its oceanfront location, huge pool, and stunning landscaping. Moreover, this unit in particular is the best one we’ve stayed in so far. It is situated within easy access to the ocean and pool without being in a busy area. There is a large lawn area just off the lanai that is great for the kids to run around on, and there’s a view of the ocean during the day and the lit tiki torches at night. We also loved the convenience and freedom of being on the ground floor.The primary bedroom is huge with a comfortable king bed, plenty of drawer space, a walk-in closet, and a location in the unit that allows for great airflow across the bed. The second bedroom is perfect for kids, with two twin beds, lots of storage space, and an adjoining bathroom with a bathtub. The decor and furnishings are charming and comfortable.I was specifically impressed with how well-stocked the unit was — complete with pool/beach toys, puzzles, board games for both kids and adults, books, kitchen necessities, and extra linens. The owner had great communication with us throughout our stay and was easy to get in touch with at anytime. Thank you for a wonderful stay — we’ll be back!
