Unit was as expected from pictures on line. Room was well kept. Host was easy to deal with. Resort was amazing for my needs. I would suggest new pillows... they were terribly uncomfortable.

The Fontainebleau is a very nice place. However, they have a TON of hidden fees. They also have policies that they do not advise you of and then treat you poorly when you are uninformed. The valet and lobby area were overloaded with young teen girls with very little clothes on which I found inappropriate. The pool area is nice however it shuts down super early 7pm. The beach chairs were useful as well however your chair will be behind a cabana that you cannot see around, beach towels were dirty, and the umbrellas are not complimentary. They are almost 40/day because of additional fees added to the price. The host of this suite was awesome however and is extremely responsive and accomodating.

When we arrived by Taxi it was after hours and the doors to the complex were locked and no one was around to help us. After 1 hour of waiting outside in the heat finally one of the residents came along and let us in. There was a person at the desk upstairs who was not checking the front door. We finally checked in.Next, when we entered the unit we could smell the stink marijuana smell in the unit which we found out was coming from the neighbor next door who was sitting out on his balcony smoking dope. Eventually this subsided after he was finished but it left an unpleasant small in the unit which made it hard to sleep, That was our arrival.In the morning we looked out on the balcony and there was an ash try and cigarette butts on the table. So we cleaned that up. The floor of the balcony was dirty as well. Now about the view; If you look off the balcony you see a large building next door that is blocking the view of the beach, This was not as we expected because the pictures from the balcony shown on the website were taken with a fish eye lens which made that building look smaller. Now about the bedding; the bed was ok but the pillows were very lumpy and had chunks of foam in them which made for an uncomfortable sleep. The bathroom is ok. The unit is located very far from the restaurants and main pool of the complex. Aside from this the Host was nice.

Every so often you need to shake your head after reading a review. This traveler hired late at night. I am not sure what do he tried to open but the hotels main doors are open 24x7. When he complained about the smell from the balcony next door I offered to have housekeeping spray the room. He refused that offer. The balcony pictures are actual views from that specific room. A fish lens was not used. Also the pool and restaurants are a two minute walk. This review is totally inconsistent with the dozens of other 5 star reviews. I welcome the travelers comments but feel they are overly harsh.
