This is a great home to stay at. Easy to find centrally located and very well maintained. Their attention to detail was amazing and even has snacks for us when we arrived. I will definitely be using this property again

Thanks for staying, Rachel! Really glad you had a nice time! You're welcome back anytime.
We were experiencing a portion of the Chisholm Trail from Kingfisher Oklahoma to Wichita Kansas. Lots of great historical places to visit in Wichita. This place was in a perfect spot to get around town.
The place was very cute and spacious! There’s plenty of dishes and cookware in the kitchen, which came in handy. The host, Ben, was friendly and helpful. It was a good stay. Thank you!

Thanks for coming, Allison! You're welcome back anytime.
We stay for a week in the Ferngalow. The house was clean and well appointed. Having a fenced backyard was really nice for the dog. The location was excellent. Just a few minutes from many interesting restaurants where we dined every night. While we were there the temperature was in triple digits everyday. Thankfully the air conditioning system was more than up to the task. The house stayed very comfortable. All in all I would stay there again if ever back in Wichita.

Thanks so much for staying, Peter! You and the fam are welcome back anytime. Thanks for great communication and your kind review!
I had a very small 30th birthday party and it was the perfect layout and just the right amount of space. I also work with a production company and the CEO ( my friend) loved the layout as well and it helped inspire them.
Older house in very good shape. Liked the walk thru type of design. Flooring and fixture looked and worked. Easy 10mins to get to locations in the city. Need a better description of what to do when leaving. (Laundry/trash)

Home okay, but be very careful with host
The home is a nice layout, however, due to the wood floors on a raised foundation, every step you take is very loud and it is hard to be quiet enough not to wake others.
The home felt cleanish, but both bathrooms had the appearance of being quickly wiped down rather than fully cleaned.
Unfortunately, the host informed us that one bathroom had been clogged and to plan not to use it. We had largely booked this specific home so we could have the privacy of separate rooms and bathrooms. He did have a plumber come and did have the matter resolved on the second day we were in the home.
Finally, upon check out, we received a payment request from the host for replacement of a ceiling fan. He had not inquired about this before accusing and billing us. Unfortunately, we were not the party responsible and did use VRBO customer support to resolve the matter. I hated that he had both a plumbing and fan stop working, but his frustration and rudeness in resolving the matter came quickly and were uncalled for. In the end, he acknowledged his poor behavior but still wanted payment for something we had not broken or even used. Be very careful to document everything and contact the host (who did always respond quickly) with ANYTHING you see that may not be perfect. We were not ever offered any reparations or discount for the non working bathroom.

To begin: please notice that all other reviews are stellar, and this person is clearly trying to defend herself after damaging my property. VRBO is actually investigating this guest's behavior.
Regarding cleanliness: the house has been spotless every single time, and have never had any complaints about clealiness. The house is always cleaned professionally after every stay, so this claim about being "quickly wiped down" is not true. I have photo evidence after every single cleaning.
Regarding the toilet, the previous guest (who checked out the day before this guest arrived) clogged the toilet and the quickest we were able to get a plumber out was the following day. It was an unfortunate event that was clearly not my fault (nor this guest's!), which this guest ackowledged, but did not communicate with me any further about it. I apologized profusely and was in constant contact with them as this reviewer even noted. I have multiple unanswered messages from this guest about it, for which they claimed over the phone "I was on vacation, not here to answer your messages!" I wish I was kidding.
This guest also DAMAGED THE PROPERTY despite her claim they did not. I have photographic evidence and VRBO is currently investigating how to resolve this issue as I sent them photos and evidence from the cleaners who had been there after the previous guests' checkout and before this guest checked in. After I sent them the formal request for payment for damages, this guest tried to call me on the phone to say they didn't do it, which helped no one and only resulted in a heated conversation. The thing they broke was the cord to the ceiling fan/light. They couldn't quite get their story straight: they said "they didn't use it" but that's impossible (unless they stayed in the dark the entire time) and then over the phone they said "it was already broken" and so they moved it off the bed to the nightstand, supposedly. My cleaners noted to me that they hadn't seen it the morning this guest arrived, and how could it have been in the bed if the bed was made? Their story didn't add up and continues not to.
I took full responsibility for the bathroom malfunction (and actually was planning to offer a partial refund, funny enough), but after the guest damaged my property and was very rude to me over the phone, I decided against it. I'm very upset to have agreed to host this guest. VRBO is continuing to investigate their behavior.
