INTRODUCTION

Casa Angelina is a luxury three bedroom condominium that occupies the whole of the upper floor of a standalone building in the gated community of Del Pacifico Resort.

Casa Angelina is one of several properties owned and operated by Palm Coast Luxury Rentals in beautiful and tranquil Esterillos Este.

At Palm Coast Luxury Rentals, our mission is to provide our guests with affordable luxury accommodation in the Central Pacific Coast region of Costa Rica, a base to explore from, a place to return to.

Del Pacifico is ideally located midway between the popular beach resort of Jaco and the world famous Manuel Antonio National Park. Del Pacifico is less than 2 hours drive from the International Airport at San Jose.

From the moment you arrive at Del Pacifico at Esterillos, you will find a place unlike any other in Costa Rica. Set in the midst of the grandeur of the Costa Rican rain forest and the exotic palm coast of the Pacific Ocean, Del Pacifico at Esterillos offers the best of both of these settings. Del Pacifico is a village by the sea – a private place to relax, recharge and reflect. A master-planned community designed by internationally renowned architects and woven into the very fabric of Costa Rica’s rich cultural heritage and natural beauty.

The pool complex comprises a large free form swimming pool, a Jacuzzi, a paddling pool for the children and a large lanai. Due to the low population density of the development, it would not be unusual if your group had the pool complex all to yourselves. There is also a second pool within the resort.

The community of Del Pacifico is gated and benefits from 24 hours security.

YOUR CONDOMINIUM

Casa Angelina is a spacious and luxurious condominium comprised of over 2000 square feet of living space. There are two bedrooms with king size beds, each with their own en suite bathroom and a third bedroom with twin beds. The third bathroom services as both the bathroom for the twin bedroom and the powder room for the living area. Casa Angelina is decorated in a modern style and features original art work from Costa Rican artist Felix Murillo and from Bali, Indonesia.

With granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances throughout, the galley kitchen has all the amenities you will need to cook a wonderful gourmet meal.
The kitchen is separated from the dining area by a breakfast bar.

The dining and living areas are spacious and interconnected. The living area is demarked by beautiful teak flooring, contrasting with the Italian tile flooring throughout the rest of the condominium. The seating area in the living room is perfect for conversation. relaxing or taking an afternoon siesta.

Floor to ceiling glass double doors from the living area open up onto the sheltered dining patio.

A once a week maid cleaning service is included in each weekly rental. Additional maid service can be provided as required.

We also offer a chef service for an intimate meal served in the condominium.

THE LOCAL BEACHES

Del Pacifico is situated next to one of the most spectacular beaches in all of Costa Rica and truly one of the special places on the planet. The beach stretches for miles. The surf is always spectacular. Spectacular surf on one side and a palm-fringed beach on the other. Truly paradise found. One can walk for hours and pass only a handful of people. If you wade across the shallow stream to the south, you will likely have a 3km beach all to yourself, save that is for the pelicans, wading birds running in and out of the surf or perhaps a sloth moving through the branches in one of the trees at the edge of the beach.

Our favorite time on the beach is early morning and late afternoon. It’s a fifteen minute stroll from Playa Bejuco to various hotels on the beach that serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. There is nothing nicer than taking a stroll up to the beach for breakfast at one of the open air restaurants overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Yoga and fitness classes are available at Encantada Ocean Cottages and The Pelican Hotel. The Alma del Pacifico also has a fantastic spa offering an extensive menu of Costa Rican spa treatments combining professional, personal care and a beautiful seaside setting, which creates an experience of peace, wellness and rejuvenation.

What else to do at Del Pacifico?

We get such a kick out of knowing our guests are having an awesome vacation.

We are happy to arrange any of the following for you:

• Surfing all along the coast - we can arrange lessons for you.
• Private yoga and fitness classes
• Horseback riding along the beach
• White water rafting trips run out of Quepos (20 minutes south), for the most adventurous try the Churro river, the highest class of rapid available to tourists in Costa Rica – you are not allowed to run it in the rainy season! For the less experienced rafter try the Savegre and Naranjo rivers. The rafting company H2O is fabulous and very safety conscious.
• A night out (or two) in Jaco (20 minutes north), great restaurants, bars shopping…. Something for everyone.
• Go Zip lining – there are a number of zip lines in close proximity to Del Pacifico.
• D18 hole Disc Golf in the Rain Forest.
• Sports Fishing - go catch Sailfish, Tuna, Mahi Mahi. The Costa Rica Pacific Coast is one of the top destinations in the world for sports fishing. Boats run out of Quepos and Los Suenos (30 Minutes North). You can also charter a simple fishing boat from Esterillos for a more low key fishing experience. Also fish off the beach for snook.
• Take a jet ski tour in the waters around Manual Antonio National Park.
• Try an ATV Adventure.
• Take a day trip to Manuel Antonio National Park. Go hiking, swimming and nature watching in this tropical paradise. Round off your day with a meal in one of the many great restaurants to be found in the area.

The house was fully equipped and in a nice setting. You can’t drink the water. No one used the pool but us and we had a macaw show every day. The master shower needs updating. The WiFi went out which is probably typically. There is quite a bit of road noise and the pool area could use some comfy furniture and nice umbrellas for shade. Nice stay.

Delightful stay

Our family of six seniors, three couples stayed at Casa Angelica for a month (4th January to 1st feb). We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The unit has to large spacious bedrooms with king beds with bathrooms attached and one smaller bedroom with two twins. All were very comfortable. I particularly liked that the unit was so spacious that the six of us didn't feel confined to each other. The condo is perfectly situated on the property with the smaller of the two community pools just outside our back door. This became our refuge every afternoon. The unite has all the basics amenities to enjoyed a comfortable stay. It certainly was a blessing having an in house wash and dryer for we did laundry quite often given that we travel lite. Bonus was the housekeeping that came by once a week to clean and change bed linen. Mitelda the housekeeping was the best, she always made sure that the unite was sparkling clean and imenities replenished. The maintenance and garden staff are so vigilant with keeping the grounds immaculate. The condo is on the second floor and the main balcony give us a beautiful sunset view every day. Daily breezes would make it easy to spend time on our balcony in the morning and late afternoon enjoyed the gardens and the many species of birds. Just a thought for those who aren't renting a car and have a disability, the paved road to the casa has a steep incline. The owner was very helpful and always responded to my questions within a timel manner

Fantastic place to spend the holidays

This was a great place to stay in Costa Rica and perfectly situated about halfway between Jaco and Quepos. With a grocery store and restaurants on the property, there is really no reason to leave the grounds, but if you're looking for more activity Jaco and Quepos are a short drive. We stayed for a month and felt very safe with 24 hour gated security. Sam, the owner, was good with communication and attentive while we were there. The condo was spacious, well furnished, with all the amenities of home.

Such a great spot! The condo is just as it shows in the photos. Very spacious, clean and very high quality’. We have stayed in other places in the area and this is the best place in Esterillos by far! The swimming pool is wonderful - there is a jacuzzi and kids pool too. There are lots of great restaurants in the mini town center attached to the development plus a gym. It’s a 10 min walk to the beach or a 5 min drive at most. We loved the beach - it really is paradise! We also loved the proximity to Jaco - close enough to go in for a nice meal but far enough away not to be caught up in it all. The beach at Esterillos is soooo much nicer than the beach at Jaco. Close enough too to Quepos for great fishing and manual Antonio. Wonderful stay!!!! Sandra the manager was just lovely and so helpful. Can’t wait to go back!!

Very spacious property

This property gives a very nice overall impression. It is quite spacious and is surrounded by lovely gardens and a very nice pool area. We are a family of 5 and de used to spend part of our Christmas vacation at the beach while in Costa Rica. The pool area is quiet and spacious enough for us to all enjoy our own little spot. The beach area is across the road from the complex. This particular beach is a bit too rough for us so we drive to Manuel Antonio, which is about 35 minutes away, and enjoyed our beach time there. The water is much calmer. It's warm and lovely. We went to both the national park which is beautiful and the public beach. We enjoyed them both but we are "beach people" so it's hard for us to be of another opinion. As I said, overall the experience was nice, but there were some points that we didn't really like. One of them was that the person that was supposed to greet us never showed up. When we got to the guard at the complex entrance he didn't know who we were or which condo we were staying in and he didn't have the key. Also, the unit is not kept too clean. The towels were in the dryer when we arrived and the rooms hadn't really been cleaned. The beds and pillows smelled "slept in" and though we know it's a unit with many visitors, it is nice to arrive to lean sheets and towels and freshly changed linens. I washed everything. The shower in the main bathroom leaked from the ceiling. But the most unpleasant thing was the living room sofa. It smelled HORRIBLE! We couldn't sit in it at all during our stay. That made for a little bit of discomfort for family sharing around the television or playing games. We only used the dining table and bar stools. We hope that this review helps the owners freshen up their unt a bit before the next rental. It is quite peaceful and very pretty, but does need a little TLC in our opinion.

La casa esta en un condominio en playa Bejuco, que queda como 1 hora y media de San José. Es una casa completamente equipada, si se te olvido llevar algo no te preocupes, de seguro q en la casa lo encontrarás. La casa es amplia con tres cuartos y tres baños y tiene hasta parrilla para bbq. El condominio tiene guardas y es muy seguro. Y la piscina es lo mejor! Es temperada!! Para las noches frescas. Fui con mis amigos y la pasamos genial, definitivamente volveré.

We stayed at Sam's Place

We have travelled extensively and rarely have we stumbled onto a gem like this place. It was all we could ask for. When we were home (it like home only better) we were right on the pool with the absolute best access and we were on the ground floor. The facility is immaculate, kept amazingly clean and the grounds are fantastic and well cared for. We went horseback riding, and surfing (just minutes from our condo). We watched the most awesome sunsets almost every night and took day trips to the National Park and nearby towns and cities. It is wonderfully situated as to be quiet and exclusive but close enough to great places to see and things to do. It is, without doubt, a paradise found.

"Great Costa Rican Getaway Place"....great secret!

Not your typical tropical “Costa Rican Getaway Place”! This location is a cut above the rest! The location offers privacy, close access to the long stretching beach of Playa Bejuco, as well as convenient access to many Costa Rican attractions and restaurants. Another great feature is the rare peace and quiet not available at most tourist type resorts. This is a resort setting without the mob factor! The condo is a well appointed modern unit with all the comforts you might need. We have stayed numerous times and always look forward to returning.

Hi, my name is Sam Allen and my partner's name is Kathy. I am English/Canadian and Kathy is Indonesian. We currently separate our time between Costa Rica, Indonesia, Europe and Canada. I work as a consultant to the Energy Industry. I have three awesome kids, Ben, 31, Stephanie, 29 and Josh 26. Kathy has two children aged 13 and 8. We love to travel and do a lot of it, both for business and pleasure. We have visited a lot of countries over the years and we love Costa Rica.

Why they chose this property

in 2005, my ex-wife Nicky and I were looking for a place down south (from Canada) .. we vacationed in Costa Rica and fell in love with the country. It has so much going for it! Great climate, incredible diversity, people care about their environment, it attracts interesting people as travellers. The people are very friendly. Great healthcare. The list goes on. We happened across the Del Pacifico Resort by chance, we were traveling down to Manuel Antonio for the last leg of a Costa Rican tour. We fell in love with the location. Secluded yet close enough to plenty of action. So much to do. We were totally impressed with the quality of the development and the vision of the developers. We didn't want to be part of just another gated community. Del Pacifico is much more inclusive. Del Pacifico is such a great base to visit the rest of Costa Rica and with the quality of the road system improving all the time it just keeps getting better!

This is one of several properties I own in Del Pacifico Resort. The properties are owned and managed through our company "Palm Coast Luxury Rentals". All of our properties are very well built and maintained. Our mission is to provide our guests with affordable luxury accommodation in the Central Pacific Coast region of Costa Rica, a base to explore from, a place to return to. Casa Sophia is in a perfect location to explore the Central Pacific Region and next to some of the most magnificent beaches in all of Costa Rica.

What makes this property unique

Casa Angelina is our latest property and has a tranquil setting overlooking the second swimming pool of the resort. The large communal swimming pool is just a few strides away and, due to the low density of the development, it is not unusual to have the pool all to ourselves.

It is a 10 minute walk or 3 minute drive to the beach. The beach is spectacular. It goes on for miles. Its our favorite place on earth! Take an early morning stroll and you will soon be at peace with the world!

We love to surf. We are just beginners, but just lying out there on your surfboard looking back at the palm fringed beach with the mountains behind is to die for! If you just want to watch the surfers, there is a great bar in Hermosa called the Backyard Bar - right on the beach and a favorite spot for the surfing crowd with a competition every saturday.
