My family really enjoyed this property. This house is beautiful, and there is plenty of common space, both inside and out. The beds are also very comfortable. The house is well stocked with everything you will need. We loved exploring the area and swimming in the beautiful pool. The views from this house are amazing!!

Summer Family Gathering

The house was great! Very clean and well appointed. The pictures don't do it justice. There was plenty of space for the family to spread out. John was a great host and checked in from time to time during our stay to see if we had any questions.

Splendid vacation house

This was our second stay here with family and friends, and it was grand. As I wrote last year, the house is beautifully designed, spacious, well equipped, very comfortable, has a spectacular view, and the pool (with a retractable safety cover) is a great asset. John is an excellent host and he followed up quickly when we encountered a couple of glitches during our 2-week stay. We look forward to returning to this splendid 5-star house for future vacations!

Perfect

The house was perfect for our family get together. The kitchen had everything we needed including a well stocked pantry. The pool area was fabulous...includes a fun basketball hoop and every pool toy you could ask for. The manager was extremely responsive and helpful. We intend to return to this house!

Great location, view, and house

Went on a long weekend with some friends and everything was fantastic. The house was gorgeous, as was the yard and the pool. If I could change 2 things it’d be putting a staircase from the deck to the pool, and improving the AC (we were there on a very hot week though). Still easily 5 stars and I’d definitely return

Copake Falls “cabin”

Actually a large house with plenty of room for our 6 adult and 3 children family. Pool was great and there were plenty of games, books, and toys for the kids. What was not mentioned in the listing was the spectacular view. My grandchildren sat and watched the beautiful sunset almost every night. The owner was incredibly responsive, helpful, and welcoming.

Stunning Views! Wonderful Pool!

The view and pool provide a maximum WOW factor! This home was the perfect setting for our family get together. The house had a very well equipped kitchen and plenty of seating inside and outside. We were lucky to have warm weather so we made great use of the pool. This location is the perfect mix of a completely private location and the convenience of only being 10 minutes to the closest store. Kate was a fantastic host and was quick to respond to all questions. If more stars were available for rating, I would select them all!

Truly exceptional place

We were so lucky to stay here for an extended family vacation. Of all the vacation rentals we've stayed at, and we've had our share, this was among the most stellar, perhaps the most. It was beautifully appointed and maintained, sited on a hillside that allowed for views for almost every room, with every amenity our whole party would want (central AC for those ever-more-frequent heat waves; screen porch with fan and a tv for the kids; heated pool; toys and games for all ages; a balance of privacy and gathering places, etc) and a location perfectly equidistant between New York and Boston, as well as straddling the Hudson Valley and the Berkshires. We would have been happy to stay put all week, but there are so many attractions nearby. Katie was very communicative and helpful. We'd love to come back some day.

Five star retreat

House was perfect. Location was great. Secluded but a short drive to local towns. There were 7 adults and 3 children and plenty of room for all of us. There was even a field with a full size soccer goal that was a big hit. Beau and John were always available if we had a questions. There were you tube videos as well showing us how everything worked. The house was in perfect condition with great furnishings. The linens were great, beds super comfortable and soft towels. The kitchen was well stocked and all the appliances worked perfectly. The pool was not open as it was fall foliage but we would love to come again in the summer as it was a great addition to the property. Thank you Beau an John for a great stay.

Perfect for friend reunion

We spent a long weekend together with four other couples to celebrate our 50 years of friendship (college roommates) and turning 70. We have all traveled around the world, come from different places but unanimously found this house overlooking the valley to be special. What a view! The deck out back seemed to be newish with comfy furniture and a grill. The configuration of the bedrooms and bathrooms made for pleasant stays. Best shower I've ever had with a range of spouts and temperature settings. The kitchen was well stocked with an array of cookware, spices, oils, snacks, coffees, etc. Great indoor sitting areas. The new owners (hosts) of the house have kept most everything in place that has made this house so desirable over the years while adding some personal touches to make us smile (very soft towels, comfy bedding). Kate, the host, was in regular communication with me before and during the visit whenever I had any questions. Although we mostly stayed in the house, we did go for some lovely hikes on paths they recommended in the area. We will come back.

Wonderful Property - 5/5 recommend

The house and host were extremely welcoming. The experience was top notch from start to finish. The perfect place to spend with friends and family - open kitchen with new amenities, super cozy living room with working fireplace, and beautiful views from the porch. John was very responsive and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience. Book this place - you won’t regret it!

Splendid vacation house

We had a wonderful 2-week stay here with family and friends in August 2022. The house is beautifully designed, spacious, well equipped, comfortable in every respect, and situated to take advantage of a spectacular view, including some magnificent sunsets. The pool is a great asset and all of us made good use of it. The kitchen is worthy of a cooking show. For those who have to mix business with pleasure, the house is well set up for remote work with reliable WiFi. The owners take great care of everything and were very helpful in providing information to enhance our stay. There are many attractions in the area - hiking, walking/biking the rail trail, concerts, etc. We hope to return to this splendid house for future vacations. It's a 5-star winner!

Wonderful house, well equipped and terrific location

This house in Copake Falls was perfectly set up for an extended family visit. We were there with two sets of kids and grandkids at different times, but we could have managed it all together. Everyone loved the pool with its very child proof cover as well as the playroom on the lower level. It all worked! When we had a question, the owner was wonderfully responsive to questions and helpful in every way.
