Set on a peaceful hill with a view of Catamount, this spacious home is perfect for groups or families. With six bedrooms spread across two floors and three private wings, it offers the perfect mix of comfort and style. Indoor and outdoor spaces flow seamlessly, making it ideal for relaxing, entertaining, and connecting. Enjoy our two living rooms, great for setting up the kids with a movie in one, and the adults can sit in the other seating area by the fireplace.

A chef’s dream, the kitchen features marble counters, and a farmhouse-style island perfect for group meals. Fully equipped for everything from casual breakfasts to elaborate feasts.

*Entertainment & Relaxation*
Enjoy the newly felted pool table, custom eight-person sauna, and outdoor jacuzzi with mountain views. In summer, cool off in the heated in-ground pool. The Pool will open the first full weekend on or before May 15th through the first two full weekends in October. For 2026, that is May 15th through October 12th. In summer, pick mint from the poolside pollinator garden beloved by bees, butterflies, and birds - make your own mojitos and iced tea!

All areas of the first and second floors, and outdoors are available for use.

Access the house up a long driveway. There is ample parking available at the property. Additional cars can be parked along the side of the driveway.

A Tesla charger is available for electric vehicles.

Nestled in the heart of the Berkshires, our home is located in North Egremont, a picturesque village in the scenic Berkshire Hills of southern Berkshire County, Massachusetts. This charming rural town is steeped in history and natural beauty, offering forested landscapes, active farms, and historic landmarks like the General Knox Trail. Visitors can explore scenic roads, diverse wildlife, and countless recreational opportunities.

Great Barrington (5-minute drive) – Enjoy fine dining, weekend brunches, high-end shopping, and nightly entertainment. Popular dining options include The Old Mill, Cliff House Restaurant, Cafe Adam, Aegean Breeze, Cantina 229, and more.
Skiing – Reach Catamount Ski Area in 10 minutes or Butternut Ski Area in 17 minutes.

A vehicle is recommended for getting around. There is ample parking available at the property. Additional cars can be parked along the side of the driveway.


When you arrive, please drive slowly on Mountain View Road out of respect for our neighbors.

Please be mindful of our neighborhood and the natural acoustics of the property. To ensure a peaceful environment for everyone, we kindly ask that there is no music or loud voices outside after 9:30 PM. We appreciate your cooperation and ask that all guests in your group are made aware of this important rule.

*Gilder Pond Walks - A peaceful spot for scenic walks. The road up to Gilder Pond is open seasonally, so check access times before heading out.

*Skiing - One of the biggest draws to the area. Spend the day on the slopes, this can easily be a full-day adventure.

Please note: You may experience lower water pressure in the upstairs shower if other water outlets (such as sinks or appliances) are in use at the same time.

Guest agrees to abide by the following rental rules (hereinafter “Rental Rules”) at all times during Guest stay at Property. Guests shall also ensure that any person Guest permits on Property shall also abide by the rental rules and be 21 years or older:

Guests
The maximum total number of guests is limited to 18. The guest responsible for registering the booking must be 21 years old or older. All guests staying must be registered with the host beforehand. Only registered guests may spend the night. Guests are responsible for the actions of any invitees during their stay. Any unregistered guest can be asked to leave at any time without cause. Subletting is not permitted under any circumstances, and no packages may be sent to the home without prior host approval.

Check-in & Check-out
Check-in is anytime after 4pm EST. Guests agree to checkout by 10am EST on check-out day. Please check with Host to see if extended check-in and check-out times are available for your stay. No refunds will be given for shortened stays or any outages related to cable, internet, Wi-Fi, heating, cooling, or power, as these are beyond the host’s control.

Visitors & events/parties
Strictly registered guests only. No unregistered visitors are permitted. Parties are NOT allowed. No confetti, glitter, or excessive garbage allowed; otherwise, an additional cleaning fee will be charged. Failure to comply will result in guests being asked to leave, and additional cleaning costs being charged. A party is considered grounds for termination of the stay and immediate removal with no refund. Smoking outside after 8pm should be done individually to keep noise levels down.

Quiet hours & neighbors
Guests must keep noise to a minimum, particularly during “Quiet hours,” from 9:30pm until 8am. We have a noise sensor near the hot tub that activates after 9:30 PM. If it detects excessive noise or if we receive a neighbour complaint, we’ll give you a quick call as a friendly reminder.

Pets
We welcome pets for a fee of $175 per pet, per stay. We kindly ask guests to clean up after their pets, both outside and in the event of any accidents indoors. Please note that if any waste or damage is left behind, additional fees may apply. Only one dog is allowed per stay, and cats are not permitted in the home.

Smoking, vaping, & e-cigarettes
Smoking or vaping is NOT permitted inside or directly outside the apartment. There will be an additional fee added for smoking inside the home and/or not properly disposing of cigarette butts. Smoking is strictly prohibited within 50 feet of the outside of the property.

Child safety
Guests are to assume full responsibility for the safety and security of their children throughout their visit.

Departure
Please ensure that you turn off the TV and close/lock windows/doors before you leave. Remove all personal belongings and dispose of trash properly. Guests are asked to help maintain a shoe-free home by leaving shoes by the entrance.

Damages/breakages & furniture
Please respect the home as if it is your own home. Only use appliances for their intended uses. Please keep the property and all furnishings in good order. Removing any items from the property, including linens, and living & kitchen furnishings, is not permitted, and you will be charged accordingly if anything is removed. Should any damage occur, please notify the host immediately.
