Welcome to the heart of picturesque country life, where we've harmoniously intertwined the charm of rural tranquility with the comfort of modern amenities. As you revel in the idyllic setting, you may occasionally encounter Mother Nature's offspring like mosquitos, earwigs, ants and black flies, particularly in the warmer months. But worry not, as we've equipped our cottage with a screened-in porch, allowing you to soak in the natural beauty while keeping these winged visitors at bay. Remember to secure both doors to maintain this comfortable sanctuary.

Occasionally, you might spot other wildlife such as skunks and raccoons, a testament to the authenticity of your country experience. As for our tinier uninvited guests like mice, ants and earwigs rest assured we take preventive measures seriously. Our property undergoes regular inspections to maintain a rodent-free environment, and each room, including the kitchen and hallway, features rodent deterrents however, as nature is mysterious, sometimes you will encounter pesky insects inside. We do our best with traps as well as natural remedies, however some still sneak in. We kindly request that you do not unplug or remove the devices.

In the unlikely event that a small critter does make an unscheduled appearance, we urge you to notify us immediately. Our team is committed to ensuring your stay remains as enjoyable and comfortable as possible, and will swiftly address the situation.

Great property! Clean and well maintained. Hot tub wasn’t working so that was a major bummer, but I understand it happens and hosts have partial refund to make up for it Perfect size for a family of four, I’d recommend.

Modern, clean and all the amenities one could ask for. Also very close to Alberton and the reunion site we had attended. Our boys were delighted to have their own rooms. The extra living space, including a hot tub, is luxurious! Would recommend and rebook. :)

Expensive Cabin

Cabin style home with tall uncut grass, mice, mosquitos and next door neighbor's dog barking whenever kids outside.. as our hostess stated when I complained.. "the joys of country living" Kinda pathetic response ..we expected more for close to $1,000 for two nights.

Summer retreat

We recently decided to visit PEI while taking in the North American Indigenous Games in Halifax. Our stay was wonderful !! The cabin had everything we could have needed and more. It was wonderful to relax in the hot tub after a long day of sight seeing and taking in the breathtaking cliffs and beaches. Depending on which end of the island you are visiting it can be a bit of a drive to get to and from the sights of PEI. We would usually spend our day out and about as it was too far to zip back and forth. But if seclusion is what you’re after then this is the place for you. It was lovely to return to the cabin and have the beautiful water views all around us and at night you could even see the light at the top of the light house across the lake. It was definitely a trip to remember. Our host was lovely and always responded very quickly to answer any questions we had. Highly recommended by my entire family !!

Beautifully appointed cottage!

We stayed the weekend in this beautifully appointed cottage. Everything was very well thought out with everything we could need. You need to know it is in an out of the way location, but it’s very beautiful and peaceful. The hot tub was great to relax in after a long day of travelling or sightseeing. There was an issue with the drinking water before we arrived which the owner Sara gave us plenty of notice about and left copious amounts of water bottles so we had all that we needed and it was not an inconvenience at all. The only complaint we had was the bedrooms were very bright in the morning as there are no blinds or blackout curtains. We worked around it and Sara has assured us she will be looking into blinds for those rooms. With her attention to detail I am sure that she will. In the meantime, bring a sleep mask and you will be fine. Thanks, Sara, for a peaceful stay on PEI!

Awesome cottage

This place exceeds the description. great location...quiet area, but close to alberton to skip over to the store or pub. The cottage is great...awesome view of the water, comfy accomodations, huge TV, hottub was perfection...cant say enough good about it. Also, the host is very easy to communicate with. She was quick to reply to any message i sent. She even left us a little treat to welcome us. (The little touches go a long way) Would highly recommend this property, and plan to book it again.
