Allatoona Lake - Family Lake House and Dock - Space to relax and enjoy

Comfortable, Nicely Furnished 4 bedroom, 3 bath house. Awesome dock located about 1,800 feet from property along easily followed trail through Corps of Engineer's Land. The Dock is in water year round.

IMPORTANT - Cherokee County has strict ordinance that allows a maximum of 6 overnight guests 11 years or older, 10 is the maximum number of overnight guests when including children 10 years of age or younger. The house is NOT set up for large group gatherings. Overnight starts at 12 am midnight and goes until 7 am.

Unbeatable dock - 30' x 30' sundeck with two tables, Jet ski pads, umbrella & chairs, lots of space around dock, great swimming, great sitting place under sundeck. Dock is a gentle-sloping 1,800-foot walk from the property that takes about 5 minutes.

Keep your boat at the dock or rent our 23" Cypres Cay pontoon boat. You can also rent the Yamaha WaveRunner Jet Ski.

The house is nicely furnished with two king beds, one queen bed for the adults, and bunk beds for the kids. The house maximum is 6 guests of age 11 years or older, or a maximum of 10 guests when including children 10 years of age or younger. The kitchen is fully equipped. Washer/dryer. We have 3 TVs, a 55' LED TV in the living room, and GREAT Wi-Fi 450 Mbps, Down stairs we have a 42" TV and second kitchen eating area, and a 70' LED UHD TV. Down stairs is somewhat handicap accessible - ask for more information.

We have a Sonos speaker system throughout the house that allows you to play your music. Surround sound in the living room, speakers in the bedroom, down stairs, and in the gaming room.

2 - The driveway has room for 4 cars, street parking is not allowed so please be sure to keep cars off the street and out of the neighbors grass.

Family Getaway

House was great. Outdoor space good for relaxing together. Dock was good for fishing, swimming and relaxing. Walk to lake was tricky. A little far but we tackled it.

Great For Families

We enjoyed our one-week stay. Hosts were very responsive and accommodating with the small issue we encountered. The house has plenty of sleeping areas and we played pool nearly every night. The walk to the dock can be tricky after rain as it gets muddy and slippery, but still navigable. We rented the boat and jet ski and thoroughly enjoyed time on the lake. This area of the lake is quiet and open, very easy to fish, swim, ski. Overall, a nice place to stay!

Spring Break

We stayed here for my daughters spring break because she wanted to fish with her father. The house was very nice and clean, very well stocked. I had to work while there, but the view from the dinning/sunroom area made it much better. The dock view is amazing and so relaxing. My husband and kids had a great time fishing. We will definitely be coming back!

Great Getaway Property

Home was well stocked with all your needed supplies. Owner was fantastic, house was fantastic, double decker dock was fantastic. Amazing view out of the kitchen window. Sunrise over the lake and through the trees was beautiful.Overall 10 out of 10 for our stay. Others mentioned the walk to the lake. Just take it slow as it worth the trek. Looking forward to booking again when we can enjoy the lake a lot more.

Labor Day stay

We stayed 5 days over Labor Day - two families of 4. Plenty of sleeping space for everyone and the full kitchen downstairs was great to have. John was super to work with & checked in several times. This was our second stay here & definitely will be back.

Wonderful home

We had a fantastic spring break spent at the Lake House. It was an easy drive into Atlanta to visit all the things there. It was a peaceful retreat and coffee on the dock in the morning was a highlight. Jaci was very responsive and kind. We would love to come back again.

Nice Lake Vacation

We had a nice peaceful vacation staying at this property. There were plenty of beds for our family of 7 and we enjoyed the 8 minute walk down to the dock and lake. It was very convenient to rent the boat from them and it worked great. The house was clean and everything worked well. Thanks for a great vacation, only 45 mins from Atlanta.

Great Retreat

Our family thoroughly enjoyed the Lake House. The downstairs provided the perfect place for our teen boys to hang out and relax. The HUGE TV and pool table were a hit! We also enjoyed our walks in the woods, relaxing on the dock, and kayaking around the cove.

Fun on the lake!

We enjoyed our time at this lake house. Rented the boat and jet ski and used them everyday! The home was stocked with any condiments and cleaning supplies we needed.

Hospitality at its best

We had such a wonderful time! The house was the perfect size to offer privacy and socializing. The trail was the perfect stroll each day and the dock/lake location was perfect for spending the day on the water. Shout out to John (owner) for ensuring we had everything we needed, wanted and then some. This is a gem location for nature and water lovers .

Labor Day lake fun!

My family of four had a great time at the lake house! The house was spacious and we felt right at home. We rented the boat and jet ski and had a blast tubing and swimming. Great set up!

The garage that has been converted into the ultimate hangout was awesome! Downstairs apartment is a great set up for teens! It’s definitely a hike to get to the water but the lake is awesome!!!! Owners were very easy to communicate with before and during stay! House was well stocked with essentials! Definitely hit a up JDs on the Lake during your stay! Great lake house

The house was clean and very well stocked! There were a few small issues when we checked in, but John got them resolved quickly. We rented the house predominantly because of the large dock, which did not disappoint. We also rented the jet ski for a day and had zero issues with it.

Spring Break for grandchildren from Florida and Illinois.

Very nice house and dock. We especially liked the second kitchen. The grandchildren had the idea to have a baking competition, their group vs adults. We as grandparents, (being completely impartial?), were the judges. Our grandchildren put a lot of time and effort into their creation and were the clear winners! Other highlights of the stay were the water activities at the dock and the lake. We also like the fact that the house was located near many parks for hiking and picnicking. A very memorable experience!

Great place for teens quiet and private

This house was perfect for our group we had family and a few teens staying. We were in town for a nationals wake boarding competition over at terminus wake park. It was close enough to go back and forth for the comp but far enough away that we didn’t have to worry about visitors. The house is set in a quiet neighborhood with a relaxing walk to the docks. We enjoyed the grounds, rented a boat for the day to enjoy the lake. This house has everything you would need it was so nice not to have to drag loads of supplies. Plenty of toilet paper, paper towels cleaning supplies laundry supplies etc. the teens stayed down stairs and enjoyed having their own private space while the adults enjoyed the upstairs area. We would rent again and had a great time.

Spacious Home for Multiple Families

We had two families share this home (4 adults, 2 children, and 1 infant) and it was perfect for the space we needed! The bedrooms and kitchen downstairs made it very easy to keep a “hangout space” when the baby was sleeping upstairs. It was also nice to have multiple places for people to relax, watch tv, etc. We really enjoyed the area as well, downtown Woodstock was such a cute area packed with great restaurants and places to grab a drink! There was also a nice playground for the kids to run out some energy. The walk to the lake was a little more steep than we anticipated (sometimes difficult with the baby) but the dock is very nice and the kids had a great time jumping into the water and swimming around. We enjoyed ourselves and John was a fantastic host and quick communicator!

We've had the great fortune to have traveled all over the United States. Atlanta is such a great location to call home, particularly because of Lake Allatoona. We can't get enough of the lake and feel so fortunate to have it in our backyard - swimming, boating, relaxing, fishing - there is just something magical about being on it.

Why they chose this property

We love the lake. We love that Allatoona is so close and yet so amazing. With only a few properties and docks on the lake, we were very excited to find a property to call our own. This particular section of the lake is our favorite with the seeming endless undeveloped shoreline - it's a total escape from the craziness of everyday life.

We know you will also consider this 'Your family lake house' and be back over and over again.

What makes this property unique

The house is layed out so well to give everyone space. The woods trail to the lake makes it feel like a woods cabin as well as a lake house. With so few docks around ours, you feel like you own the lake. But it's also close to Downtown Woodstock, Emerson LakePoint Sports complex, regular shopping, outlet shopping, Blankets Creek Mountain Bike Park, etc.
